1) Important Information

Safety

  • Read and understand all instructions before use. Damage caused by not following the instructions is not covered by the warranty.

  • Use only manufacturer-specified accessories and components.

  • Use only the supplied batteries or batteries of the same specification.

  • Do not disassemble the product; this may trigger alarms or cause damage.

  • Do not scrape the fingerprint sensor with sharp objects.

  • Keep the lock away from water leaks, splashes, and corrosive substances.

  • Do not hang objects on the handle.

  • Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth.

  • Do not remove the batteries during setup or operation.

  • Have a qualified technician install the lock and keep factory seals intact.

  • Change the default master PIN code immediately after installation. Store mechanical keys safely and never share PIN codes.

  • Replace all batteries as soon as a low-battery alert appears. Match polarity (+/–) correctly.

Caution

  • Keep batteries away from heat and open flame.

  • Do not short battery terminals with metal objects.

  • Use only safe, compliant emergency power sources.

  • Repairs or component replacements must be performed by Philips, an authorized Philips service center, or qualified technicians.

  • Using non-recommended parts may void the warranty.

Disposal of Used Products and Batteries

  • Follow local e-waste and battery recycling rules. Do not dispose of the lock or batteries with household waste.

2) Installation

Packing List (for reference—use the actual box contents)

  1. Exterior assembly with silicone pad

  7. Installation fasteners (screws, tubes, springs)

Before You Begin

  1. Confirm the door swing direction: left-hand inswing, right-hand inswing, left-hand outswing, or right-hand outswing.

  2. Confirm door thickness. Standard kits typically support 35–50 mm doors.

  3. Keep the latch or deadbolt retracted during installation.

Adjust the Latch Direction

  1. Remove the mortise faceplate screws and take off the plate.

  2. Pull the latch straight out and rotate it 180 degrees.

  3. Reinsert the latch, reinstall the faceplate, and tighten the screws.

Install the Lock

(Illustrations usually show a right-hand door. For a left-hand door, mirror the orientation.)

  1. Mark and drill the holes using the drilling template.

  2. Insert the mortise and secure it with the supplied screws.

  3. Fit the square shaft and spring or springs to the exterior assembly according to your door thickness.

  4. Route the exterior cable through the door hole and seat the exterior assembly flush.

  5. Insert the square shaft into the mortise hub.

  6. Position the mounting or fixing plate on the inside and fasten it with the specified screws and tubes.

  7. Connect the exterior cable and the mortise cable to the interior assembly ports.

  8. Tuck any extra cable inside the door cavity so that it does not get pinched.

  9. Seat the interior assembly flush and tighten the main mounting screws.

  10. Install the battery or battery pack and close the battery cover.

  11. Install the strike plate and strike box if provided.

  12. Verify smooth handle action, latching, locking, and unlocking.

Attention: Choose the correct square-shaft length and screw-tube length for the door thickness. After installing the strike, confirm the door closes and opens smoothly.


3) Get to Know Your Lock

Exterior Assembly (typical)

  1. Lock status indicator

  2. Keypad

  3. Mute button

  4. Fingerprint sensor

  5. Emergency power and reset interface on the front (Type-C or micro-USB depending on batch)

  6. Low-battery indicator

Interior Assembly (typical)

  1. Battery cover and battery compartment

4) Settings

Before You Start

  • System modes:

    • General mode: Unlock with any single enrolled method.

    • Dual-verification mode: Unlock requires two different methods such as fingerprint plus PIN.

  • User numbering: Each user’s credentials are indexed by a user number. Maintain a simple list to track users.

  • Key annotations: [#] confirms. [*] returns to the previous menu.

  • Default master PIN: 12345678. Change this immediately.

Enter Master Mode

  1. Light up the keypad.

  2. Press [*] two times.

  3. Enter the master PIN code.

  4. Press [#] to confirm.

Add Users

Add a user PIN

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] for User settings.

  3. Press [1] to add a user.

  4. Enter a 6–12 digit PIN and press [#].

  5. Re-enter the same PIN and press [#].

  6. Press [*] repeatedly to exit master mode after you hear “Succeeded.”

Add a fingerprint

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] for User settings.

  3. Press [1] to add a user.

  4. Place the finger on the sensor as prompted until you hear “Succeeded.”

  5. Press [*] repeatedly to exit master mode.

Add a one-time PIN

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] for User settings.

  3. Press [2] for One-time PIN.

  4. Enter a 6–12 digit PIN and press [#].

  5. Re-enter the same PIN and press [#].

  6. Press [*] to exit.

Add a key tag (if your kit supports key tags)

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] for User settings.

  3. Press [1] to add a user.

  4. Present the key tag to the reader when prompted.

  5. Press [*] to exit.

Master Credentials

Add or replace the master fingerprint

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] for User settings.

  3. Press [4] for Master fingerprint.

  4. Enroll the new master fingerprint.

  5. Press [*] to exit.

Change the master PIN

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] for User settings.

  3. Press [5] for Modify master PIN.

  4. Enter the new master PIN and press [#].

  5. Re-enter the new master PIN and press [#].

  6. Press [*] to exit.

Delete User Information

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] for User settings.

  3. Press [6] for Delete.

  4. Select the item to delete.

    1. Delete a PIN code

    2. Delete a fingerprint

    3. Delete all user information

  5. Follow the prompts until you hear “Succeeded.”

  6. Press [*] to exit.

System Settings

Language

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [2] for System settings.

  3. Press [1] for Language.

  4. Select the language.

  5. Press [*] to exit.

  • Typical options include Chinese, English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Indonesian.

  • The default language is often Chinese and may vary by batch.

Voice or Volume

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [2] for System settings.

  3. Press [2] for Voice.

  4. Press [1] for High, [2] for Low, or [3] for Mute.

  5. Press [*] to exit.

  • The default volume is High.

Dual-verification mode

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [2] for System settings.

  3. Press [4] for Dual-verification.

  4. Follow the prompts to enable or disable.

  • The default system mode is General mode.

Locking mode: Auto or Manual

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [2] for System settings.

  3. Press [6] for Auto mode.

  4. Turn Auto mode on or off.

    • Auto mode on: the lock secures automatically after the door closes.

    • Auto mode off: locking becomes manual. From the outside, a fingerprint or PIN is required to lock. From inside, you can lock using the keypad or the thumb turn.

Network and App (only if your unit includes network capability)

Join a network

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [4] for Network.

  3. Press [1] to Join.

  4. Complete the prompts in the app. The lock exits master mode automatically after configuration.

App

  1. Install Philips EasyKey Plus from your app store.

  2. Add the device following the in-app steps.

  3. Keep the phone near the lock during binding.


5) Daily Use

Unlock from Outside

With a PIN code

  1. Touch the keypad to wake it.

  2. Enter a registered PIN and press [#].

  3. When you hear “Door opened,” push or pull the handle to open.

With a fingerprint

  1. Place a registered finger on the sensor.

  2. When you hear “Door opened,” push or pull the handle to open.

With a key tag (if supported)

  1. Present the enrolled key tag to the reader.

  2. When you hear “Door opened,” push or pull the handle to open.

Unlock from Inside

With the thumb turn

  1. Rotate the interior thumb turn to unlock.

With the functional button (if equipped)

  1. Press the OPEN or OPEN/CLOSE button two times to unlock.

Locking: Auto and Manual

Auto Lock

  1. Close the door fully.

  2. Wait for the lock to secure automatically. The status indicator turns red.

Manual Lock

  1. Close the door fully.

  2. From outside, present a fingerprint or enter a PIN to lock if Auto mode is off.

  3. From inside, lock using the keypad or rotate the thumb turn.

Inside Deadlock (Interior Lockout)

  1. Ensure the door is locked.

  2. Press and hold the CLOSE or functional button until you hear “Inside deadlock enabled.”

  3. While inside deadlock is enabled, the outside escutcheon is disabled.

  4. To release from the outside, use the master PIN or the mechanical key.

Mechanical Key (Emergency)

  1. Reveal the keyway by sliding or flipping the cover if present.

  2. Insert the mechanical key and rotate to unlock.

  3. After entry, restore the cover and replace or charge the batteries if needed.


6) Other Functions

One-Key Mute

  1. Wake the system.

  2. Press and hold the Mute button for 2 seconds to toggle voice prompts on or off.

Restore to Default Settings

  1. Use a sharp object to press the RES pinhole two times.

  2. Wait for confirmation. All user information is erased and the lock returns to factory defaults.

External Power and Reboot

  1. If the batteries are depleted or the system is unresponsive and the door cannot be opened from outside, connect a 5V power bank to the front emergency power port.

  2. After unlocking, replace the batteries immediately.

  3. Applying 5V external power also reboots the lock if it has crashed.


7) Indicators and Lockout

Status Indicator (front)

  • Blue means the system is awake and ready.

  • Green means the door is unlocked or open.

  • Red means the door is locked or closed.

Low-Battery Indicator (front)

  • When the system wakes, it checks the battery voltage.

  • If the voltage is low, the indicator flashes red, and a voice prompt reminds you to replace the batteries.

System Lockout

  1. If there are five consecutive incorrect attempts within five minutes, the system locks temporarily.

  2. During the lockout period, attempts are ignored, and a countdown status is shown by staged flashes.

  3. The system returns to normal after the lockout ends.

Inside Deadlock Indicator

  • When inside deadlock is enabled, the outside digital functions are disabled.

  • Waking the keypad from outside shows an inside deadlock prompt.


8) Alerts and Troubleshooting

Outside Forced Lock Alert (if supported on your batch)

  1. When the door is unlocked from inside while the mode is active, an alert sounds repeatedly.

  2. The alert stops after successful identity verification.

Low-Battery Alert

  1. A low-battery prompt plays when the system wakes and detects low voltage.

  2. Replace the batteries to clear the alert.

Anti-Dismantling Alerts

  1. If the door or escutcheon is pried and separation is detected, an alert sounds repeatedly.

  2. The alert stops automatically after successful verification or after a normal inside unlock.

Deadbolt Anomaly Alert (if equipped)

  1. If the deadbolt fails to extend or retract correctly, an alert sounds repeatedly.

  2. The alert clears automatically when normal operation resumes.


9) Power and Batteries

Emergency Power

  1. Connect a 5V power bank to the front emergency port when the batteries are depleted and the door cannot be opened from outside.

  2. Unlock the door and replace the batteries immediately.

Battery Replacement

  1. Open the battery cover on the interior assembly.

  2. Replace the batteries or battery pack with the correct type for your unit.

  3. Close the battery cover securely.
