Before You Begin
Door swing direction: The lock supports left-inward, right-inward, left-outward, and right-outward doors. Confirm your door’s swing and handing before proceeding.
Door thickness & bars: The default kit supports 38–60 mm door thickness. If your door is outside this range, contact support for the correct kit. The connecting bar must be cut to optimal length for your door thickness.
A. Set Handle Orientation (Front & Rear)
Change front handle direction:
Unscrew the two screws on the direction reversing stand and remove the stand and cover.
Rotate the handle 180° to the correct orientation.
Ensure the cable position matches the reference; reinstall the direction reversing stand and tighten the screws.
Change rear handle direction (if needed):
Unscrew the two screws and remove the direction reversing stand.
Rotate the handle 180° to the correct orientation.
Reinstall the stand and tighten the screws.
B. Set Latch Bolt Direction
Push the inverting tailpiece to the top.
Press the latch bolt down to the mortise surface, rotate it 180°, and pull it out.
Push the tailpiece to the bottom.
Install the directional screw based on the door swing direction.
The directional screw must be installed on the interior side equipped with the rear escutcheon.
If the latch’s slant faces outside, it’s an inward-opening door; if it faces inside, it’s outward-opening.
C. Install Mortise & Cylinder
Mark and drill holes using the drilling template.
Insert the mortise and fasten with anchor screws.
Route the mortise cable through the designated hole.
Insert the gourd lock cylinder and fasten with its screw.

Place a compressed spring and square shaft into the lever hole (as applicable).
Pull the front escutcheon connector through the door hole.
Align the square shaft and threaded pipes with the front escutcheon.

E. Install Mounting Plate & Bar
Install the mounting plate in the orientation shown in the manual and fasten with screws.
Cut the bar to proper length for your door thickness and insert it into the mortise.
F. Install Rear Escutcheon & Connect

Align the square shaft and the cut bar with the mortise.
Connect the front/mortise connector to the rear escutcheon’s connector port.
Tuck any extra cable inside the door hole and fasten the rear escutcheon with screws.
