Security and Caution

Installation

The installation steps in the manual are for right-open doors. For left-open doors, adjustments are required.

Pre-installation Instructions

1. Check the door opening direction:

The lock can be installed on doors with four opening directions: left-out pull, right-in push, right-out pull, and left-in push.

2. Change the handle direction:

  1. Unscrew and remove the direction adjustment stand.

  2. Rotate the handle 180 degrees.

  3. Adjust the cable, put the stand back, and tighten the screws.

3. Change the latch bolt direction:

  1. Push the inverting tailpiece to the top.

  2. Press the latch bolt down, rotate it 180 degrees, and pull it out.

  3. Push the tailpiece to the bottom.

  4. Change the direction of the directional screw. It must be installed on the inside of the door.

Note: The default toolkit works for doors with a thickness of 38-60mm. If your door is outside this range, you must contact Philips.

Installation Steps

  1. Use the drilling template to drill the necessary holes and install the mortise.

  2. Tighten the four fixed screws when inserting the mortise.

  3. Install the connecting screw tube, and place the square shaft and compressed spring into the lever hole. The spring must be towards the lever.

  4. Pass the connection wire through the hole in the mortise. Align the cylinder key tailpiece and square shaft with the two rotary holes on the mortise and insert them.

  5. Tighten the mounting plate with three anchor screws against the inside of the door.

  6. Place the compressed spring and then the square shaft into the inside escutcheon. Insert the connection and mortise wires into the sockets on the inside escutcheon.

  7. Align the square shaft with the mortise holes and insert them so the inside escutcheon is close to the inside of the door.

  8. Tighten the two anchor screws.

  9. Install the batteries, the battery cover, and the inside lower cover.

  10. Test the inside and outside levers and the mechanical key to check that all components are working correctly.

Setting Up Your EasyKey

The default master PIN code is 12345678.

How to Enter Master Mode

  1. Press the pound key [#].

  2. After the voice prompt, enter the master PIN code and press [#] to confirm.

User Settings

Modify Master PIN Code

  1. Enter master mode (see above).

  2. Press [1].

  3. Enter the new master PIN code and press [#].

  4. Re-enter the new master PIN code and press [#] to confirm.

Register a User PIN Code

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [2], then press [1]. The system will automatically number the user.

  3. Enter a 6 to 12-digit PIN code and press [#].

  4. Re-enter the same PIN code and press [#] to confirm.

Register a One-Time User PIN Code

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [2], then press [2].

  3. Enter a 6 to 12-digit one-time PIN code and press [#].

  4. Re-enter the PIN code and press [#] to confirm.

Register a Fingerprint

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [2], then press [3]. The system will automatically number the fingerprint.

  3. Place your finger on the sensor.

  4. Follow the voice prompts to place your finger on the sensor multiple times until you hear "Succeeded".

Register a Card

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [2], then press [4]. The system will automatically number the card.

  3. Hold the card against the card reader until you hear a beep.

Delete a User

Delete a Single User PIN Code

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [3], then press [1].

  3. Press [1] again to delete a single PIN code.

  4. Enter the 2-digit user number of the PIN code you want to delete and press [#].

Delete All User PIN Codes

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [3], then press [1].

  3. Press [2].

Delete a One-Time User PIN Code

Delete a Single Fingerprint

System Settings

  • Language Settings: The default language is English.

    1. Enter master mode.

    2. Press [4], then press [1].

    3. Press [1] for Chinese, [2] for English, [3] for Spanish, [4] for Russian, or [5] for Arabic.

  • Volume Settings: The default is "higher volume".

    1. Enter master mode.

    3. Press [1] for higher volume, [2] for lower volume, or [3] for mute mode.

  • Switch to Dual Verification Mode:

Other Functions

  • Anti-fake Code Query:

    1. Enter master mode.

    2. Press [6], then press [1]. The serial number will be broadcast.

    • Alternatively, you can input 400# as a shortcut.

  • System Query:

    1. Enter master mode.

    2. Press [6], then press [2]. The software version will be broadcast.

  • Local Query: The shortcut is 114#.

  • Bluetooth Settings:

    1. To enable, press [7], then press [1].

    2. To disable, press [7], then press [3].

    • Shortcuts: 403# to open, 404# to turn off.


How to Use Your EasyKey

Unlocking from Outside

  • With PIN code:

    1. Touch the keypad to wake the system.

    2. Enter your registered PIN code and press [#].

    3. After the "Door opened" voice prompt, press the handle down.

  • With Fingerprint:

    1. Place your registered finger on the sensor.

    2. After the "Door opened" voice prompt, press the handle down.

  • With Card:

    1. Place your registered card on the card reader.

    2. After the "Door opened" voice prompt, press the handle down.

Unlocking from Inside

  • The door can be opened by directly pressing down on the handle.

  • Ensure the safe handle switch is toggled to the green scale to disable the safe handle function.

Locking

  • Auto/Manual Mode:

    • The lock is in auto mode by default.

    • In auto mode, the deadbolt automatically pops up and locks the door after it is closed.

    • In manual mode, the deadbolt does not pop up automatically. You must press the [Close] button to lock the door.

    • To switch modes, long-press the [6] key in the unlocked state.

Deadlock from Inside

  • To enable: Long-press the [CLOSE] button until it flashes red and you hear "Inside deadlock enabled".

  • When enabled, all functions on the outside escutcheon are locked. The keypad will display "15937(X)" if you try to wake it up.

  • To unlock, you must use the master PIN code or the mechanical key.

Mechanical Key Opening

This is for emergencies only (e.g., low battery, forgotten PIN code, or system failure).

  1. Cut the box and take out the key shell.

  2. Push the cover aside to reveal the key.

  3. Insert the key into the keyhole, keeping the key and key shell vertical to each other.

  4. Rotate the key shell toward the handle by 90Β° until it's close to the door.

  5. Rotate the key shell downwards by 180Β° to be parallel with the ground.

  6. Rotate the key shell horizontally toward the handle to unlock the door.


Other Functions

  • Safe Handle Function:

    • When enabled, the handle is locked from the inside, and the door cannot be unlocked from the inside.

    • To enable, toggle the switch on the inside escutcheon to the red scale.

    • To disable, toggle the switch to the green scale.

  • One-Button Mute Function:

    • When the system is awake, long-press the [Mute] button for 2 seconds to enter mute mode. The button will glow green.

    • To unmute, long-press the [Mute] button for 2 seconds. The button will glow white.

  • Restore to Factory Settings:

    • Double-click the [RES] button with a sharp object until you hear "Restored to factory settings".

    • All user information will be emptied.

  • Outside Forced Lock Function:

    • After the door is locked, long-press the functional button for 2 seconds to enter this mode.

    • When enabled, unlocking from the inside will trigger an alarm.


Troubleshooting

Alarm Types

  • Low Battery Alarm: When the battery voltage is too low, the light will flash red, and you will hear "Low battery. Please replace all batteries" during unlocking.

  • Anti-dismantle Alarm:

    • Trigger 1: The door is pried open, and the sensor bolt pops up.

    • Trigger 2: The outside escutcheon is pried open.

    • The alarm will be continuous and repeate,d and can be turned off by a successful verification or by closing the door.

  • Abnormal Latch Bolt Alarm: The latch bolt cannot lock or unlock properly. The alarm is continuous and will automatically turn off.

  • Outside Forced Unlock Mode: Inside unlocking alarm. The alarm will be continuous and repeated, and can be turned off by a successful verification method of any type.

Emergency Power Supply

  • If the batteries are dead, you can power up the lock by plugging a 5V power bank into the micro USB port.

  • If the system crashes, a 5V power bank can be used to reboot it.

How to Replace Batteries

  • The lock uses four AA alkaline batteries.

  • There are two power stations, allowing for a total of eight batteries to extend battery life.

  • To access the batteries, push the button at the top of the inside escutcheon to remove the battery cover.
