1) Important Information

Safety

  • Read and understand all instructions before use. Damage caused by non-compliance is not covered by warranty.

  • Use alkaline batteries of the same specification as supplied.

  • Do not disassemble the lock; doing so may trigger alarms or cause damage.

  • Do not scrape the fingerprint sensor with sharp objects.

  • Keep the lock away from water leaks, splashes, and corrosive substances.

  • Do not hang objects on the handle.

  • Clean only with a soft cloth.

  • Do not remove batteries during setup or operation.

  • Have a professional technician install the lock. Keep sealed stickers intact.

  • Change the default master PIN code immediately after installation. Keep the mechanical key safe.

  • Replace all batteries immediately when the low-battery alert appears. Match polarity (+/–) correctly.

Caution

  • Keep batteries away from fire to avoid explosion.

  • Use only safe, compliant emergency power sources.

  • Do not short battery terminals with metal objects.

  • Component replacement must be done by Philips, a Philips authorized service center, or qualified technicians.

  • Do not use third-party parts not recommended by Philips (may void warranty).

Disposal of Used Products & Batteries

  • Locks can be reclaimed at Philips authorized service centers (compensation subject to conditions).

Before Installation

  1. Choose the correct installation kit for your door thickness.

  2. The default kit supports 38–60 mm door thickness. If your door is outside this range, contact support.

  3. The product supports four door directions: left inward, right inward, left outward, right outward.

Change the Orientation of the Latch Bolt

  1. Loosen the mortise plate screws with an Allen wrench and remove the plate.

  2. Take out the latch bolt, rotate it 180°, and place it back.

  3. Re-install and fasten the mortise plate.

Installation Instructions

(The steps below illustrate a right-handed door. For left-handed doors, follow “Before installation” and adjust accordingly.)

  1. Mark and drill holes using the drilling template. Mount the mortise and fasten it with four anchor screws.

  2. Install threaded pipes on the front escutcheon. Insert the compressed spring and square shaft into the correct holes.

  3. Pull the front escutcheon connector through the door hole. Insert the square shaft into the mortise. Ensure the front escutcheon sits flush against the door.

  4. Place the mounting plate and fasten it with two M5 anchor screws.

  5. Insert the compressed spring and square shaft into the rear escutcheon.

  6. Connect the escutcheon connector, mortise connector, and Wi-Fi antennas to the rear escutcheon’s connector ports. Insert the square shaft into the mortise and ensure the rear escutcheon sits flush.

  7. Remove the front cover and battery cover. Insert and tighten M6 anchor screws to secure the rear escutcheon.

  8. Refit the decorative cover, install the lithium battery, and install the battery cover and strike.

  9. Verify the rotary knob, mechanical key, and all other components operate properly.

Attention (during install):

  • Keep the latch bolt inside the door while installing.

  • Choose the proper square shaft and threaded pipe based on door thickness.

  • Hide extra connectors inside the door hole or inside the rear escutcheon to avoid pinching.

  • After installing the strike, test locking and unlocking functions.

4) Setup & Administration

Pre-Setup Overview

  • Modes:

    • General mode: Unlock with any registered method.

    • Dual verification mode: Unlock with a combination of two different verifications among PIN, key tag, and fingerprint.

  • User codes: Maintain a list that maps user code 00–99 to each user’s fingerprint, PIN, or key tag for easy management.

Icon/Term Annotations

  • Master PIN code = administrator PIN

  • User PIN code = regular user PIN

  • User code (00–99) = index used to manage user records

  • Master fingerprint = administrator fingerprint

  • Fingerprint = user fingerprint

  • Key tag = RFID credential

  • [#] = confirm

  • [*] = back/exit

Enter Master Mode (two ways)

Way A — Master PIN:

  1. Wake the keypad.

  2. Enter [#] twice.

  3. Enter the master PIN code.

  4. Press [#] to enter master mode.

Way B — Master fingerprint:

  1. Wake the keypad and press [*] twice.

  2. Place the registered master fingerprint on the sensor to enter master mode.

Notes:

  1. Factory mode does not include a master fingerprint. Enroll a master fingerprint before use.

  2. For best results, do not use the same finger for master and user fingerprints.

  3. If your master PIN is still the default 12345678, change it first (see below).

Add a New User (PIN, Fingerprint, or Key Tag)

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] to open User settings, then press [1] to add user information.

  3. Provide the credential you want to add:

    • PIN: Enter a 6–12 digit PIN, press [#], re-enter the PIN, press [#].

    • Fingerprint: Place finger on the sensor, lift and place again when prompted until “Succeeded”.

    • Key tag: Present the key tag to the reader until “Succeeded”.

  4. Press [*] repeatedly to exit master mode after you hear “Succeeded”.

Tip: The system automatically detects whether you are adding a PIN, fingerprint, or key tag.

Add a One-Time PIN Code

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] (User settings), then press [2] (One-time PIN).

  3. Enter a 6–12 digit PIN, press [#], re-enter it, press [#].

  4. Press [*] until you exit master mode.

Change Master PIN Code

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] (User settings), then press [5] (Change master PIN).

  3. Enter the new master PIN, press [#].

  4. Re-enter the new master PIN, press [#].

  5. Press [*] until you exit master mode.

Add or Change Master Fingerprint

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] (User settings), then press [4] (Master fingerprint).

  3. If none is registered, enroll a finger. If one exists, enroll a new finger to replace it.

  4. After “Succeeded,” press [*] until you exit master mode.

Delete User Information

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] (User settings), then press [6] (Delete).

  3. Choose what to delete and follow voice prompts:

    1. Delete a single PIN

    2. Delete a single fingerprint

    3. Delete a single key tag

    4. Delete all user information

  4. After “Succeeded,” press [*] until you exit master mode.

System Settings

Language

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [2] (System settings), then press [1] (Language).

  3. Press [1] = Chinese, [2] = English.

  4. After “Succeeded,” press [*] to exit.

    • Default language: English.

Volume

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [2] (System settings), then press [2] (Volume).

  3. Press [1] = High, [2] = Low, [3] = Mute.

  4. After “Succeeded,” press [*] to exit.

    • Default volume: High.

Eco mode

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [2] (System settings), then press [3] (Eco mode).

  3. Press [1] to turn eco mode on or off.

    • Default: Off.

Verification mode (Single ↔ Dual)

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [2] (System settings), then press [4] (Verification mode).

  3. Follow the prompt to enable or disable dual verification.

    • Default: Single verification.

Extended Functions

Infrared sensor (indoor unlock aid)

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [2] (System settings), then press [5] (Infrared sensor).

  3. Follow prompts to enable or disable.

    • Default: On.

Network connection (App pairing from lock menu)

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [4] to join a network.

  3. Wait for “Connecting, please wait a moment,” then complete setup in the app.

App Pairing Guide (EasyKey Plus)

Option 1 — QR code scanning

  1. Power on the lock and locate the QR code on the battery cover.

  2. Open the Philips EasyKey Plus app and tap Add a device.

  3. Scan the QR code and follow in-app instructions.

Option 2 — Manual operations

  1. In the app, tap Add a device → Manual and choose your model.

  2. On the lock, enter master mode, then press [4] to join a network.

  3. Return to the app and finish pairing.

Wi-Fi requirements:

  1. Use a router with dedicated 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (5 GHz not supported).

  2. Keep the lock within 10 meters of the router for reliable connectivity.


5) Daily Use

Unlock from Outside

With PIN code

  1. Touch the keypad to wake it.

  2. Enter a registered PIN and press [#].

  3. When you hear “Door opened,” push or pull the handle to open.

With fingerprint

  1. Place a registered finger on the sensor.

  2. When you hear “Door opened,” push or pull the handle to open.

With key tag

  1. Present a registered key tag to the reader.

  2. When you hear “Door opened,” push or pull the handle to open.

With functional button

  1. Double-press the [OPEN] button within one second.

  2. Push or pull the handle to open.

Unlock from Inside

With rotary knob

  1. Rotate the interior rotary knob to unlock.

With indoor infrared sensor

  1. Trigger the infrared sensor.

  2. Touch the sensing areas on both the front and rear sides of the handle simultaneously to unlock.

    • If the infrared sensor is disabled, touching both areas will show a red light to indicate indoor inductive unlocking is off.

Lock from Outside or Inside

  1. Close the door fully.

  2. The latch bolt pops up automatically, and you will hear the voice prompt “Door Close.”

Interior Lockout (Deadlock)

  1. When the door is locked, long-press the [CLOSE] button until you hear “Inside deadlock enabled.”

  2. In interior lockout, the front escutcheon is disabled.

  3. If, during identity verification, the keypad displays “15937(X)” with the voice prompt “Inside deadlock enabled,” it indicates the door is deadlocked from inside.

  4. To release interior lockout from outside, use the master PIN or the mechanical key.

Unlock with Mechanical Key (Emergency)

  1. Take out the key, push the cover aside to expose the key.

  2. Insert the key vertically into the keyhole, then rotate the key shell 90° in the direction of the handle until it is close to the lock.

  3. Twist clockwise 180°, ensure the key shell is parallel to the horizontal plane, then rotate the key cover horizontally toward the handle to unlock.

Recommendation: Use the mechanical key only in emergencies (dead battery, forgotten PIN, or system malfunction).


6) Other Functions

Indoor Infrared Sensor — Enable/Disable (quick toggle)

  • Enable: Long-press the [OPEN] and [CLOSE] buttons at the same time.

  • Disable: Long-press the [OPEN] and [CLOSE] buttons at the same time.

Outside Forced Lock

Function: Triggers an alert if the door is unlocked from inside while outside forced lock is active.
Enable: After locking, long-press number key “8” for 2 seconds to enter outside forced lock mode.
Note: This function does not affect normal unlocking from outside.

One-Key Mute Mode

  1. Mute: When awake, long-press the Mute key for 2 seconds. You will hear “Mute mode.”

  2. Unmute: When awake, long-press the Mute key for 2 seconds. You will hear “Voice mode.”

Restore to Default Settings (Factory Reset)

  1. Double-click the [RES] button with a sharp object.

  2. The lock will restore to factory settings and erase all user information.

Doorbell

  • When the doorbell is pressed on the keypad, the indoor chime sounds and the camera captures a video clip of the visitor and sends it to the paired app.

  • The smile curve indicator flashes blue when the doorbell key is pressed.

Two-Way Video Intercom

  • After app integration, you can view the front door and talk to visitors in real time from the mobile app.

Screen (Rear Escutcheon)

  1. When the doorbell is pressed, the rear screen turns on to show the front door.

  2. Press the screen’s functional button or unlock the door from outside to turn the screen off.

  3. Adjust screen timeout and brightness in the mobile app.


7) Indicators — Meanings & Usage

Door Lock Status Indicator (front)

  • Blue: System awake and ready for operation.

  • Green: Door unlocked/open.

  • Red: Door locked/closed.

Low Battery Voltage Indicator (front)

  • Red flash at wake and voice prompt “Low battery voltage, please replace battery.”

Outside Forced Lock Indicator (front)

  • White: When the door is locked and the number key “8” is glowing, outside forced lock mode can be enabled.

Interior Lockout Indicator (front)

  • In interior lockout, waking the keypad shows “15937(X)” and announces “Inside deadlock enabled.”

System Lockup Indicator (front)

  • After 5 consecutive incorrect attempts (fingerprint, PIN, or key tag) within 5 minutes, the system locks for 100 seconds.

    • Within 2 minutes remaining: number key “2” flashes.

    • Within 1 minute remaining: number key “1” flashes.

  • Digits appear only when the outside escutcheon is awake or during identity verification.

Mute Indicator, [OPEN/CLOSE] Indicator, Indoor Infrared Sensor Unlock Indicator

  • Mute indicator: Confirms mute mode status during one-key mute toggling.

  • [OPEN/CLOSE] indicator: Used during simultaneous long-press to toggle the indoor infrared sensor.

  • Indoor infrared sensor indicator: Shows red when you touch both sensing areas while the infrared sensor is disabled, reminding you that indoor inductive unlocking is off.


8) Troubleshooting & Alerts

Alert — Unlock from Inside under Outside Forced Lock Mode

  • Trigger: Door is unlocked from inside while outside forced lock is active.

  • Alert: Repeated alerts.

  • Turn off: Stops after successful identity verification.

Low Battery Voltage Alert

  • Trigger: Automatic voltage check at wake detects low battery.

  • Alert: Voice prompt “Low battery voltage, please replace all batteries.”

  • Turn off: Automatically turns off after replacement.

Anti-Dismantling Alerts

  1. Door pried apart and latch bolt pops out.

    • Alert: Repeated alerts.

    • Turn off: Automatically or after successful identity verification.

  2. Front escutcheon pried and a gap appears between door frame and lock.

    • Alert: Repeated alerts.

    • Turn off: Automatically, after successful identity verification, or after a normal inside unlock.

Anomalous Deadbolt Alert

  • Trigger: Deadbolt malfunction prevents locking or unlocking.

  • Alert: Repeated alerts.

  • Turn off: Automatically.

Motion Sensor Alert (PIR)

  • Trigger: Unexpected person stays within the detected area beyond a set time.

  • Effect: Camera captures a short video and sends notifications to the mobile app.

  • Default: Off after factory reset; enable in the app.

  • Power tip: Frequent video features increase power consumption. Set minimum sensitivity and reduce tests to save power.


9) Power, Charging, and Batteries

Emergency Power & Reboot

  1. If batteries are depleted or the system crashes and the door cannot be opened from outside, connect a 5V power bank to the micro-USB on the front.

  2. After unlocking, replace the battery immediately.

  3. If the system has crashed, powering with a 5V bank will reboot the lock automatically.

Replace the Lithium Battery

  1. The lock uses a 5000 mAh lithium battery.

  2. The battery compartment is on the upper part of the rear escutcheon.

  3. Push the battery cover upward to remove it and replace the battery.

Charge the Lithium Battery (external)

  1. Remove the battery from the lock.

  2. Charge it using a charging cable.

Notes:

  1. Lithium battery warranty is 1 year.

  2. Charge cut-off voltage is 5V.

  3. Poor network connectivity increases power consumption.
