Important Safety & Disposal Information
Read and understand all instructions before use. Use only manufacturer-specified accessories and batteries of the correct type. Do not disassemble the lock. Avoid sharp objects on the fingerprint sensor. Keep the product away from water and corrosive substances. Do not hang objects on the handle. Clean with a soft, damp cloth. Do not remove batteries during setup or operation. Have the lock installed by professionals. Change the default master PIN after installation and keep mechanical keys safe. Replace/charge batteries promptly when the low battery alert occurs.
Do not expose batteries to heat sources. Use only safe power supplies. Avoid short-circuiting batteries. Service should be performed by Philips or authorized technicians. Using non-recommended accessories may void the warranty.
Dispose of used products/batteries per local regulations or at authorized Philips service centers. Do not discard batteries with household waste.

Compatibility & Door Prep
Door swing supported: left-hand inswing/outswing and right-hand inswing/outswing.
Door thickness supported: 38–60 mm. Select the correct installation kit and consult your dealer if outside this range.
Adjustable Latch & Trim Preparation
Adjust the latch direction
Toggle the tumbler as indicated.
Rotate the latch bolt 180°.
Press inward to complete the adjustment.
Push the latch out
Push the latch outward as indicated to proceed with assembly.
Trim the plastic cover (for the lock cylinder)
Insert the plastic cover into the lock cylinder.
Trim when it protrudes 37–41 mm beyond the door surface, then re-insert and align with the cylinder.
Select M6 screw tube length
Choose the appropriate screw-tube length based on door thickness.
Trim the tumbler (lock cylinder)
Insert the lock cylinder into the mortise.
Trim the tumbler when it protrudes 18–25 mm beyond the door surface.
Re-align with the mortise and insert the cylinder.
Trim the deadlock latch
Shorten so that the remaining latch length is about 1 cm less than the door thickness.
Important: Ensure the dead bolt is retracted during assembly.
Assembly Steps (Right-hand swing example)
Drill holes using the drilling template. Install the mortise in the jamb and secure with four anchor screws.
Install the plastic cover. Install the M6 screw tubes on the exterior assembly.
Insert the mortise tumbler into the tumbler hole.
Pass the connecting cable through the door hole. Align the keyway hole and plastic cover; fit the exterior assembly to the door’s exterior side.
Place the mounting plate on the interior side and secure it tightly with the M6 anchor screw.
Install the square shaft and spring on the inner panel. Plug the exterior and lock connecting cables into the corresponding sockets on the inner panel.
Note: Mortises without a detection switch do not have mortise cables.
Install the interior assembly and fasten six M4 screws.
Check the thumb turn, mechanical key, and all connections.
Insert the Li-polymer battery as indicated.
Fit the battery cover and the bottom decorative cover to complete the assembly.
For left-hand doors, adjust the latch direction before assembly.

Master Mode — How to Enter
Option A: Using master PIN
Illuminate the keypad.
Press the [*] key twice.
Enter the master PIN code.
Press [#] to confirm.
Option B: Using the master fingerprint
Illuminate the keypad.
Press the [*] key twice.
Place the enrolled master finger on the sensor.
Notes:
If the master PIN is still the default, you must change it in master mode before other operations.
The lock has no master fingerprint by default; enroll one first, and do not duplicate it with any user fingerprint.
User Management (Add / Delete)
Quick Add (auto-detect method)
Press the [*] key twice, enter the master PIN, and press [#] to confirm.
Press [1] for Settings.
Press [1] to Add User. The lock will detect and enroll PIN codes, fingerprints, and key tags; add any method you prefer.
Add a PIN code
Enter a new user PIN (6–12 digits) and press [#].
Re-enter the PIN and press [#] to confirm.
Wait for the success prompt, then press [*] to exit menus step-by-step.
Add a fingerprint
Place your finger on the scanner.
When prompted to try again, lift and place the finger repeatedly until success.
Press [*] to exit menus step-by-step.
Add a key tag
Present a new key tag to the scanner.
After success, press [*] to exit menus step-by-step.
Add a palm vein
Press the [*] key twice, enter the master PIN, and press [#].
Press [1] for Settings, then press [3] to Add Palm Vein.
Open your palm toward the palm-vein recognition area, 10–20 cm from the lock, and enroll.
After success, press [*] to exit menus step-by-step.
Positioning tip: Keep palm deflection under 25°, rotation under 90°.
Add a one-time PIN code
Press the [*] key twice, enter the master PIN, and press [#].
Press [1] for Settings, then press [2] to Add One-time Code.
Enter a 6–12 digit code and press [#].
Re-enter and press [#] to confirm.
After success, press [*] to exit menus step-by-step.
Set or change the master fingerprint
If none is set, the first fingerprint you add as “master” becomes the master fingerprint.
If one exists, adding a new master fingerprint replaces the old one.
Press the [*] key twice, enter the master PIN, and press [#].
Press [1] for Settings, then press [4] to Add/Modify Master Fingerprint; follow the prompts.
Change the master PIN code
Press the [*] key twice, enter the master PIN, and press [#].
Press [1] for Settings, then press [5] to Modify Master PIN.
Enter a new master PIN, press [#].
Re-enter and press [#] to confirm.
Press [*] to exit menus step-by-step.
Delete a user/credential
Press the [*] key twice, enter the master PIN, and press [#].
Press [1] for Settings, then press [6] to Delete User.
Choose what to delete:
Press [1] to delete a PIN code.
Press [2] to delete a fingerprint.
Press [3] to delete a key tag.
Press [4] to delete a palm vein.
Press [5] to delete all users.
Follow the voice prompts until success, then press [*] to exit menus step-by-step.
System Settings
Language
Press the [*] key twice, enter the master PIN, and press [#].
Press [2] for System Settings, then press [1] for Language.
Press [1] for Chinese or [2] for English. The default language is English.
Volume
Press the [*] key twice, enter the master PIN, and press [#].
Press [2] for System Settings, then press [2] for Volume.
Press [1] High, [2] Low, or [3] Mute. Default is High.
ECO settings
Press the [*] key twice, enter the master PIN, and press [#].
Press [2] for System Settings, then press [3] for ECO Settings.
Select:
[1] Enable or disable the video function.
[2] Enable or disable the palm-vein function.
[3] Adjust sensor sensitivity.
After the voice confirmation, press [*] to exit. ECO mode is off by default.
Dual Verification Mode
Press the [*] key twice, enter the master PIN, and press [#].
Press [2] for System Settings, then press [4] to enable/disable Dual Verification (requires any two among fingerprint, PIN, key tag, or palm vein). The default system mode is General Mode.
Auto Mode (auto-latching) / Manual Mode
With mortises that include a detection switch, Auto Mode is managed by the mortise and this menu is disabled.
With mechanical mortises without a detection switch, the lock defaults to Manual Mode; set to Auto Mode here if desired.
After setting Auto Mode, the lock lets you adjust latch-bolt rebound duration by voice prompt.
Important note on rebound duration: In Assembly Settings, the default latch-bolt rebound duration is stated as 300 ms, adjustable from 200–500 ms in 100 ms steps; follow the on-device prompt during Auto Mode setup.
Assembly Settings
Door-swing direction
Press the [*] key twice, enter the master PIN, and press [#].
Press [5] for Assembly Settings, then press [1] for Door-swing Settings.
Follow prompts and press [*] to exit.
Torque settings
Press the [*] key twice, enter the master PIN, and press [#].
Press [5] for Assembly Settings, then press [2] for Torque Settings.
Follow prompts and press [*] to exit.
Latch-bolt rebound duration
Press the [*] key twice, enter the master PIN, and press [#].
Press [5] for Assembly Settings, then press [3] to set Rebound Duration.
Default is 300 ms; adjustable 200–500 ms in 100 ms steps.
Network & App
Download the official app
Search and install Philips Home Access from your app store.
Add the lock to the network (two methods)
Method A — Scan QR code
Power the lock and locate the QR code under the rear trim.
In the app, tap + on the home page to open the scanner.
Scan the lock’s QR code and follow in-app steps to complete configuration.
Method B — Manual add
In the app, tap +, choose Manual add.
Search for the lock model and open the network configuration page.
Follow in-app steps to complete configuration.
Join a network from the lock menu
Press the [*] key twice, enter the master PIN, and press [#].
Press [4] for Network Settings to start joining a network. The lock exits Master Mode automatically after setup.
Daily Use
Outdoor / Indoor Unlock (access methods)
PIN code
Touch to wake the keypad.
Enter the enrolled PIN and press [#] to confirm.
When you hear “Door opened”, push or pull the handle.
Fingerprint
Place an enrolled finger on the fingerprint scanner (back of handle).
When you hear “Door opened”, push or pull the handle.
Key tag
Place the enrolled key tag on the key-tag recognition area.
When you hear “Door opened”, push or pull the handle.
Palm vein
Present your enrolled palm to the palm-vein recognition area.
When you hear “Door opened”, push or pull the handle.
Indoor quick unlock
Double-press the OPEN button within one second.
Push or pull the handle to unlock.
Outdoor / Indoor Lock
After the door is closed, the main bolt automatically extends to lock; a voice prompt confirms the door is closed.
If auto-locking fails:
From the outside, press the Lock button on the keypad after closing.
From inside, press the CLOSE button to lock.
To unlock indoors, grip and rotate the handle.
Privacy Mode (indoor)
When locked, turn the thumb turn left or right to enable privacy mode.
To disable privacy mode, return the thumb turn to the middle position.
Mechanical Key (emergency)
Take out the mechanical key from the package.
Remove the handle cover.
Insert the key into the keyway and rotate to unlock.
Tips: Use only in emergencies (battery drained, forgotten PIN, system fault). Store the key outside your home (office, car, or secure location).
Other Features
Armed Mode
Function: Triggers an alert if the door is opened from inside while armed.
How to use: After locking the door, press the [8] key to enter Armed Mode.
Notes: Available only on mortises with a detection switch; does not affect unlocking from outside.
Mute Mode
Function: Silences voice prompts (useful at night).
How to use: While the system is awake, press and hold the Mute button for 2 seconds to enter mute mode; repeat to return to voice mode.
Extra: The [0] key also serves as a mute button.
Factory Reset
Function: Erases all user data and restores factory settings.
How to use: Press the RES button twice with a sharp object.
Doorbell
Function: Indoor chime rings “dingdong”; the camera captures the visitor and sends a push notification to the app for remote viewing.
Indicator: The smile indicator flashes blue when the doorbell is pressed.
Video & Intercom
Function: Real-time video monitoring of your doorway with two-way communication via the app once connected.
Indoor Display
Function: Shows the doorway when the doorbell is pressed.
How to use: The display turns on when the doorbell is pressed; press the button below the screen or open the door from outside to turn it off. Display timeout and brightness can be set in the app.
Indicators
Status Indicator (multicolor)
Blue: System awake and ready for operation.
Green: Door unlocked.
Red: Door locked.
Low Battery Indicator (red)
When the system wakes, it automatically checks battery voltage; if low, the red indicator illuminates and a voice prompt reminds you to replace the battery upon unlocking.
Armed Mode Indicator (white on [8])
When locked, the [8] key lights white to show that Armed Mode can be activated. The feature requires a mortise with a detection switch.
System Lock-out Indicator
Five consecutive incorrect attempts within five minutes (fingerprint, PIN, or key tag) lock the system for two minutes. During the countdown, digit [2] flashes (2 minutes), then digit [1] (1 minute). Prompts appear only when the keypad is woken or while verifying.
Troubleshooting — Alerts
Armed Mode alert
Trigger: Door opened from inside while in Armed Mode.
Alert: Continuous, repeated sound.
Off: Stops after successful verification of any access method.
Low Battery alert
Trigger: Low voltage detected on wake-up.
Alert: Voice prompt “Low battery, please replace the battery” during unlocking.
Off: Turns off automatically.
Latch Abnormality alert
Trigger: Abnormal latch-bolt operation results in unsuccessful locking/unlocking.
Alert: Continuous, repeated sound.
Off: Turns off automatically.
Tamper alert
Trigger 1: Door gap is pried open, and the assistant bolt extends.
Trigger 2: The Exterior assembly is pried and misaligned with the door.
Alert: Continuous, repeated sound.
Off: Auto-stops or stops after successful verification (outside or inside as noted).
Motion Detection (Loitering) alert
Disabled by default. Enable Loitering Alert in the app after binding the lock. For longer battery life, set motion sensitivity to the lowest level. When enabled, the main camera captures images/video and sends app notifications if people linger beyond the preset time.
Power, Battery & Emergency Power
External power (if battery is drained)
Connect a 5 V power bank to the charging port to power the lock temporarily and unlock.
Replace or charge the battery promptly after entry.
In a system malfunction that prevents unlocking from outside, supplying 5V power restarts the system.
Battery replacement (Li-polymer)
Press and hold the lower screen area.
Push up to remove the screen assembly.
Remove and replace the battery.
Battery charging/notes
Remove the battery and charge via cable (charging voltage 5 V).
Battery type: 5000 mAh Li-polymer (use the provided battery).
Poor network conditions can accelerate battery consumption.
Battery warranty: 1 year.
Indicator & Menu Notes (for clarity)
The contents list mentions “Mute indicator” and “Privacy mode indicator.” In practice for this model, the manual details the Status, Low Battery, Armed Mode, and System Lock-out indicators. Follow the on-device voice/LED prompts for mute and privacy statuses if present in your firmware.

How to add a fingerprint:
Press the [*] key twice.
