1) Important Information

Safety

  • Read and fully understand all instructions before use. Damage due to non-observance is not covered by warranty.

  • Use only manufacturer-specified accessories and components.

  • Use only the alkaline or Li-polymer batteries supplied (or the same type/specification).

  • Do not forcibly disassemble the product to avoid triggering alerts or damage.

  • Do not scratch the fingerprint sensor with sharp objects.

  • Keep the product away from water leaks, splashes, and corrosive substances.

  • Do not hang objects on the handle.

  • Clean with a soft cloth only.

  • Do not remove batteries during setup or operation.

  • Install the product according to the provided assembly instructions; keep sealed stickers intact.

  • Change the default master PIN code immediately after installation; safeguard the mechanical key, and do not disclose PIN codes.

  • Replace all batteries promptly when low-battery alerts occur; match polarity (+/–) correctly.

Caution

  • Keep batteries away from ignition sources to avoid explosions.

  • Use only safe power sources; do not short battery terminals with metal objects.

  • Component replacement must be done by Philips, a Philips-authorized service center, or qualified technicians.

  • Do not use third-party parts not recommended by Philips; doing so may void the warranty.

Disposal of Used Products & Batteries

  • Locks can be reclaimed at Philips authorized service centers if the recall conditions are met.

  • Know your local e-waste collection system and battery recycling rules.

  • Do not discard used products and batteries with household waste.

Notice Before Assembling

  • Supported door directions: left-hand inswing, left-hand outswing, right-hand inswing, right-hand outswing.

  • Choose the correct installation kit for the door thickness. The default kit fits 38–60 mm doors.

Adjustable Latch Instructions

  1. Loosen the mortise plate screws with an Allen wrench and remove the plate.

  2. Pull the latch straight out, rotate it 180°, and reinsert it into the mortise.

  3. Reattach the mortise plate and tighten the screws.

Assembly Procedure

(Illustrations show a right-hand swing. For left-hand swing, follow “Notice before assembling.”)

  1. Drill holes using the drilling template. Mount the mortise into the jamb and tighten the four anchor screws.

  2. Attach M6 screw tubes to the outside escutcheon. Insert the compressed spring and square shaft into the correct hole.

  3. Pass the connecting cable through the door hole. Align and insert the outside escutcheon’s square shaft into the mortise’s rotary hole so the escutcheon sits flush with the door.

  4. Fasten the fixing plate on the inside of the door with two M5 connecting screws.

  5. Insert the compressed spring and square shaft into the inside escutcheon.

  6. Connect the escutcheon connectors, mortise connector, and antenna to the inside escutcheon ports. Align the square shaft hole and ensure the inside escutcheon sits flush.

  7. Open the upper decorative cover and battery cover, then tighten the M6 anchor screws to secure the inside escutcheon.

  8. Install the battery, replace the battery cover and upper decorative cover, and install the strike plate.

  9. Check the rotary knob, mechanical key, and overall assembly for proper operation.

Attention (assembly):

  • Ensure the deadbolt is retracted during assembly.

  • Choose square shaft and screw tube lengths according to door thickness.

  • Route and tuck excess cables in the door hole or inside the escutcheon to avoid pinching.

  • After installing the strike plate, test the smooth opening and closing.

4) Settings

Instructions Before Setting

  • Modes:

    • General mode: Any enrolled access method can unlock the door.

    • Dual verification mode: Any two enrolled methods among PIN code, key tag, fingerprint, and Face ID are required to unlock.

  • User code (00–99): Each user’s credentials (PIN, fingerprint, key tag, Face ID) are indexed by a user code so you can delete or manage a single user without clearing all data. Keep a user list for reference.

  • Keypad keys: [#] confirms; [*] returns to the previous menu.

  • Default master PIN code: 12345678.

Enter Master Mode (two ways)

Way A — Master PIN code:

  1. Wake the keypad.

  2. Press [*] twice.

  3. Enter the master PIN code and press [#] to confirm.

Way B — Master fingerprint:

  1. Wake the keypad.

  2. Press [*] twice.

  3. Place the enrolled master fingerprint on the sensor.

Attention:

  1. If the master PIN is the initial default, enter master mode, press [1] → [5] to modify the master PIN before other operations.

  2. Enroll a master fingerprint before use, and do not use the same finger for master and user fingerprints.

User Settings

Add a user PIN code

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] (User settings), then [1] (Add user).

  3. Enter a 6–12 digit PIN, press [#]; re-enter the PIN, press [#].

  4. Wait for “Succeeded,” then press [*] until you exit master mode.

Add a user fingerprint

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] (User settings), then [1] (Add user).

  3. Place a finger on the sensor; when prompted, lift and place again several times until “Succeeded.”

  4. Press [*] until you exit master mode.

Add a user key tag

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] (User settings), then [1] (Add user).

  3. Present the key tag to the reader until “Succeeded.”

  4. Press [*] until you exit master mode.

Add a one-time PIN code

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] (User settings), then [2] (One-time PIN).

  3. Enter a 6–12 digit PIN, press [#]; re-enter it, press [#].

  4. Press [*] until you exit master mode.

Add a Face ID

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] (User settings), then [3] (Add Face ID).

  3. Face the camera and gently move your head as prompted until “Succeeded.”

  4. Press [*] until you exit master mode.

Add or change a master fingerprint

  • If none enrolled: Enroll a fingerprint; it becomes the master fingerprint.

  • If one exists: Enroll a new fingerprint to replace it.

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] (User settings), then [4] (Master fingerprint).

  3. Follow prompts until “Succeeded,” then press [*] until you exit.

Modify master PIN code

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] (User settings), then [5] (Modify master PIN).

  3. Enter new master PIN, press [#]; re-enter new master PIN, press [#].

  4. Press [*] until you exit.

Delete user information

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] (User settings), then [6] (Delete).

  3. Choose what to delete and follow prompts:

    1. PIN code, 2) Fingerprint, 3) Key tag, 4) Face ID, 5) Delete all user information.

  4. After “Deletion succeeded,” press [*] until you exit.

System Settings

Language

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [2] (System settings), then [1] (Language).

  3. Press [1] = Chinese, [2] = English.

  4. After “Setting succeeded,” press [*] to exit.

  • Default: English.

Volume

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [2] (System settings), then [2] (Volume).

  3. Press [1] = High, [2] = Low, [3] = Mute.

  4. Press [*] to exit.

  • Default: High.

Eco mode

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [2] (System settings), then [3] (Eco).

  3. Follow the prompt to enable or disable.

  • Default: Off.

Infrared handle

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [2] (System settings), then [5] (Infrared handle).

  3. Follow the prompt to enable or disable.

  • Default: On.

Dual verification mode

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [2] (System settings), then [4] (Dual verification).

  3. Follow the prompt to enable or disable.

  • Default: General mode (single verification).

Network Settings

Join a network

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [4] to enter network configuration.

  3. The lock exits master mode automatically after configuration completes.

Video / Face / Sensor toggles

  1. Enter the network settings menu.

  2. Press [1] to turn the video on/off.

  3. Press [2] to turn facial recognition on/off.

  4. Press [3] for sensor settings.

  5. Press [*] to exit.

App Binding Guidance (Philips EasyKey Plus)

Option 1 — Scan the product QR code

  1. Power the lock and locate the QR code on the back of the battery cover.

  2. Open Philips EasyKey Plus on your phone and tap Add a Device.

  3. Scan the QR code and follow the in-app instructions to bind.

Option 2 — Manually add the device

  1. Open the app, tap Add a Device, search for this model, and enter binding.

  2. On the lock, enter master mode and press [4] to join a network; the voice prompts “Binding, please wait.”

  3. Return to the app and complete binding.

Wi-Fi requirements

  1. The lock supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only (5 GHz not supported).

  2. Keep the lock within 10 meters of the router for a strong signal.

Cloud Storage Usage Guide

  1. Open Philips EasyKey Plus and tap Check it out or Learn more on the cloud storage intro page.

  2. Go to PROTECT PLANS in the store and select a subscription plan (store URL provided in the manual).

  3. Complete payment; you will receive order details and an activation QR code by email.

  4. In the app, tap + and scan the activation QR code.

  5. Select the device to apply the plan to and tap Confirm.


5) Get to Use Your Lock

Outdoor Unlock

With PIN code

  1. Wake the keypad.

  2. Enter a registered PIN and press [#].

  3. When you hear “Door opened,” push or pull the handle to open.

With fingerprint

  1. Place a registered finger on the sensor.

  2. When you hear “Door opened,” push or pull the handle to open.

With a key tag

  1. Present a registered key tag to the reader.

  2. When you hear “Door opened,” push or pull the handle to open.

With Face ID

  1. Face the camera with an enrolled Face ID.

  2. When you hear “Door opened,” push or pull the handle to open.

With the [OPEN] button

  1. Double-press the [OPEN] button within one second.

  2. Push or pull to open.

Indoor Unlock

With a rotary knob

  1. Rotate the interior rotary knob to unlock.

With infrared handle

  1. Ensure the infrared handle is enabled.

  2. Touch the sensing areas on both the front and rear of the handle simultaneously to unlock.

  • If the infrared handle is disabled, touching both areas lights red to remind you that indoor inductive unlocking is off.

Outside / Inside Locking

  1. Close the door fully.

  2. The latch bolt pops up automatically and the lock announces “Door closed.”

Inside Deadlock

  1. After locking, long-press the [CLOSE] button until “Inside deadlock enabled.”

  2. In inside deadlock mode, the outside escutcheon is disabled.

  3. When woken from outside, the keypad shows “15937(X)” with “Inside deadlock enabled.”

  4. To unlock from outside while deadlocked, use the master PIN or mechanical key.

Mechanical Key Unlock (Emergency)

  1. Cut open the key box and take out the key shell. Push the knob aside to reveal the key.

  2. Insert the key into the key hole, keeping the key and shell vertical to each other. Rotate the key shell 90° toward the handle until it is close to the door surface.

  3. Rotate the key cell (key) 180° downward so it is parallel to the ground, then rotate it horizontally toward the lever to unlock.

Attention: Use the mechanical key only for emergencies such as dead battery, forgotten PIN, or lock malfunction.


6) Other Features

Indoor Infrared Unlock — Quick Toggle

  • Enable/Disable: Long-press the [OPEN] and [CLOSE] buttons for 10 seconds to toggle the infrared handle.

  • Function: When both the touch sensor and infrared sensor detect your hand, touching the handle unlocks it from the inside.

  • If disabled, the red light indicates the infrared handle is off.

Outside Forced Lock

  • Function: Triggers an alert if the door is unlocked from inside while the outside forced lock is active.

  • Enable: After locking, press [8] to enter outside forced lock mode.

  • This mode does not affect normal unlocking from outside.

Mute Button

  • Quick mute before unlocking: Press [0] to enable mute mode before unlocking if you do not want to disturb others.

  • Toggle mute: When the outside escutcheon is lit, long-press the Mute button for 2 seconds to enable or disable mute. Voice prompts confirm the status.

Default Settings (Factory Reset)

  1. Double-press the [RES] button with a sharp object.

  2. All user information is erased, and factory defaults are restored.

Doorbell

  • Pressing the doorbell triggers an indoor ding-dong, and the camera captures a visitor photo, sending it to the bound app for remote viewing and optional unlocking.

  • The smile curve flashes blue when the doorbell is pressed.

Video Intercom

  • After binding in the app, you can view the doorway and perform real-time two-way intercom from your phone. Remote unlock is supported.

Display (Inside Screen)

  1. When the doorbell rings, the indoor display turns on to show the doorway.

  2. You can also press the indoor screen button to turn on the display and view the doorway.

  3. Adjust display duration and brightness in the app.


7) Indicators

Door Lock Status Indicator (front)

  • Blue: System awake and ready for operation.

  • Green: Door unlocked/open.

  • Red: Door locked/closed.

Low Battery Indicator (front)

  • On wake, the system checks the voltage. If low, the indicator flashes red. During unlocking, a voice prompt indicates low battery; replace batteries promptly.

Outside Forced Lock Indicator (front)

  • When the door is locked, the digit “8” lights alone to indicate outside forced lock mode can be enabled.

Indoor Deadlock Indicator (front)

  • In inside deadlock mode, outside digital functions are disabled. When woken, the keypad shows “15937(X)” with a voice prompt that inside deadlock is enabled.

System-Locking Indicator (front)

  • After 5 consecutive incorrect inputs among fingerprint, PIN code, or key tag within 5 minutes, the lock enters a 100-second lockout.

    • Within 2 minutes: digit “2” flashes.

    • Within 1 minute: digit “1” flashes.

  • The lockout prompt appears only when the keypad is awake or during verification.


8) Troubleshooting & Alerts

Outside Forced Lock Mode Alert

  • Trigger: Unlocking from inside while outside forced lock mode is active.

  • Alert: Repeated alert.

  • Off: Stops after any successful access verification.

Low Battery Alert

  • Trigger: Low battery detected at wake.

  • Alert: Voice prompt “Low battery, please replace the battery” during unlocking.

  • Off: Turns off automatically after replacement.

Anti-Dismantling Alerts

  1. Door pried open and sensor latch bolt pops up.

  • Alert: Repeated alert.

  • Off: Automatically or after successful verification.

  1. The outside escutcheon is pried and no longer fits the door.

  • Alert: Repeated alert.

  • Off: Automatically, or after successful verification, or after normal inside unlocking.

Deadbolt Abnormality Alert

  • Trigger: Deadbolt fails to lock or unlock properly.

  • Alert: Repeated alert.

  • Off: Automatically turns off when normal.

Motion Detection (Loitering) Alert

  • Trigger: Suspicious person loiters beyond the set time.

  • Effect: Camera captures a video and sends a notification to the app.

  • Default: Off. Enable in the app after binding.

  • Power tip: Video features increase consumption. Set sensitivity to Low and avoid frequent tests to save power.


9) Power & Battery

External Power Supply / Reboot

  1. If batteries are depleted or the system crashes, and you cannot open from outside, connect a 5V power bank to the reset & external power supply interface on the front.

  2. After opening, replace the batteries immediately.

  3. If the system has crashed, powering with 5V reboots the lock automatically.

Battery Replacement

  1. Working power: 5000 mAh Li-polymer battery.

  2. Battery compartment: upper end of the inside escutcheon.

  3. Slide the battery cover upwards to remove and replace the battery.

Battery Recharge (external)

  1. Remove the battery from the lock.

  2. Charge with a charging cable.

Notes:

  1. Li-polymer battery warranty is 1 year.

  2. Charging voltage is 5V.

  3. Poor network conditions accelerate battery aging.


10) Quick Reference — Common Tasks

Add a fingerprint

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] (User settings), then [1] (Add user).

  3. Place finger repeatedly as prompted until “Succeeded.”

  4. Press [*] to exit.

Add a one-time PIN

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] (User settings), then [2] (One-time PIN).

  3. Enter PIN, press [#]; re-enter, press [#].

  4. Press [*] to exit.

Add Face ID

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] (User settings), then [3] (Add Face ID).

  3. Follow the face capture prompts until “Succeeded.”

  4. Press [*] to exit.

Toggle dual verification

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [2] (System settings), then [4] (Dual verification).

  3. Enable or disable as needed.

  4. Press [*] to exit.

Join a network

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [4] and wait for the configuration to complete.

Factory reset

  1. Double-press [RES] with a sharp object.

  2. Wait for reset; all user data is erased.
