1) Important Information
Safety
Read and understand all instructions before use. The warranty does not cover damage caused by not following instructions.
Use only manufacturer-specified accessories and components.
Use only the alkaline batteries the product is equipped with, or use the same specification type of alkaline batteries.
Do not forcibly disassemble the lock.
Do not scrape the fingerprint sensor with sharp objects.
Do not expose the product to water leakage, splashing, or corrosive substances.
Do not hang objects on the handle.
Clean surfaces with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
Do not remove the battery while setting up or operating the lock.
Installation and service should be performed by professional technicians or an authorized service center.
After installation and testing, change the default master PIN code immediately. Store mechanical keys safely and do not share PIN codes.
Replace the battery promptly when a low-battery alert appears and ensure correct polarity during installation.
Caution
Keep batteries away from heat or ignition sources.
Do not power the product with any power source that does not meet safety requirements.
Do not short-circuit battery terminals with metal objects.
Component replacement should be performed by Philips, an authorized service center, or professional technicians.
Do not use third-party or non-recommended accessories; doing so may void the warranty.
Disposal
Follow local regulations for recycling used electronic products and batteries. Do not dispose of them with household waste.

Pre-installation Notes
Supported door swing directions: left-in, left-out, right-in, right-out.
Default installation kit fits door thickness 38–60 mm. If your door is outside this range, contact support.
Prepare the Mortise
Loosen and remove the mortise plate screws with an Allen wrench.
Remove the mortise plate.
Take out the latch bolt, rotate it 180°, then reinstall it.
Refit the mortise plate and tighten the screws.
Determine Door Swing Direction
Identify whether the door is left-in, left-out, right-in, or right-out.
Adjust the mortise/latch orientation accordingly.
Installation Steps (right-hand door example)
Mark and drill holes using the drilling template.
Insert the mortise into the door and fasten it with four mortise anchor screws.
Install M5/M6 screw tubes on the outside escutcheon. Insert the compressed spring(s) and square shaft into the corresponding holes.
Feed the escutcheon cable(s) through the door hole. Insert the square shaft into the mortise. Ensure the outside escutcheon sits flush.
Place the mounting plate on the interior face of the door. Fasten with M5 connecting screws.
Connect the mortise cable and escutcheon cable(s) to the inside escutcheon. Hide the extra cable in the door or escutcheon cavity.
Remove the top deco cover and the inside battery cover. Secure the inside escutcheon with M6 mounting screws.
Reinstall the deco cover, insert the battery, then reinstall the battery cover and strike plate.
Verify that the rotary knob, mechanical key, handle, and all components operate correctly.
Attention
Ensure the latch bolt stays inside the door during installation.
Select the correct square shaft and screw tubes for your door thickness.
Keep excess cabling tucked safely to avoid pinching.

Pre-setup Notes
System modes:
General mode: Any enrolled access method can unlock the door.
Dual-verification mode: Requires two identifiers (PIN code + fingerprint) to unlock.
You can track users by user code (00–99) for management and deletion.

Add a Fingerprint

Place your finger on the sensor. When prompted, lift and place again until you hear “Succeeded.”

Delete a Single User PIN Code
Enter master mode.
Press [3] to enter user record deletion.
Press [1] to delete the user PIN code.
Enter [1] to delete a single user PIN code.
Enter the 2-digit user code (00–99) and press [#].
Wait for “Succeeded,” then press [*] until you exit master mode.
Delete All User PIN Codes

Delete a Single Fingerprint

System Initialization (Factory Reset by Hardware Button)
Remove the battery cover.
Double-press the RES reset hole with a suitable tip.
Wait for the “Restoring to default settings” voice prompt.
All user records are deleted, and settings return to default.
5) System Settings
Language
Enter master mode.

Wait for “Succeeded,” then press [*] until you exit master mode.
Note: Default language is English.
Volume
Enter master mode.
Press [4] to enter System Settings.

Wait for “Succeeded,” then press [*] until you exit master mode.
Note: Default volume is High.

Extended Functions (Network)

Press [1] to check the security code; the lock will broadcast the product series number.
App Pairing Guide (Smart Video Door Lock)
Confirm the lock is installed and powered.
Install the official Philips EasyKey app by scanning the QR code from the manual or searching in your app store.
Create an account and sign in.
Tap “Add a device” and select “Smart video door lock.”
Follow the app instructions to complete Wi-Fi pairing and device binding.
Notes
A strong 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network is recommended.
Poor network conditions increase power consumption.

Notes
The ultrasonic sensor default detection range is 80 cm.
The valid facial recognition height range is 125–200 cm.

7) Using the Lock
Outdoor Unlock
With PIN Code
Wake the keypad.
Enter an enrolled user PIN code.
Press [#] to confirm.
Push or pull the handle to open.
With Fingerprint
Place an enrolled finger on the fingerprint sensor until recognized.
Push or pull the handle to open.
Indoor Unlock
With Rotary Knob
Rotate the knob to the unlock direction to retract the latch/deadbolt.
With Functional Button (OPEN/CLOSE)
Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to unlock as directed by the voice prompt.
With Infrared Sensor (if enabled)
Touch the infrared-sensing pads on both sides of the inside handle simultaneously to unlock.
Outdoor Lock
Close the door; in Auto mode, the lock secures automatically and announces “Door Closed.”
In Manual mode, press the CLOSE button to lock.
Indoor Lock
Press the CLOSE button or rotate the knob to the lock position as applicable.
In Auto mode, closing the door also secures the lock automatically.
Inside Deadlock
Ensure the door is locked.
Long-press the CLOSE button until the indicator flashes once in red and the voice prompt says “Inside deadlock enabled.”
In a deadlock, the outside escutcheon is disabled. Only the master PIN code verification or the mechanical key can unlock it from the outside.
Outside Forced Lock (Security Lock)
Ensure the door is successfully locked.
Long-press the outside forced-lock button for 2 seconds to enable outside forced lock.
Unlocking from inside will trigger an alert under outside forced-lock mode.
Normal authorized unlocking from outside or identity verification will clear the alert.
Mechanical Key Unlock (Emergency)
Open the key cover as designed for this model.
Insert the mechanical key fully.
Rotate the key 180° clockwise (typical) until the mechanism releases, then operate the handle to open.
Remove the key and close/secure the cover.
Recommendations
Use the mechanical key only for emergencies (e.g., battery drained, forgotten PIN, system fault).
8) Other Features
Indoor Infrared Sensor Unlock (toggle)
Enable/Disable Quickly:
If disabled, long-press the OPEN/CLOSE button to enable infrared indoor unlocking.
If enabled, long-press the OPEN/CLOSE button to disable.
Indicators: See the “Indicators” section for infrared status lights.
Mute Mode
Enter master mode.
Set volume to Low or Mute under System Settings as needed (see “Volume”).
Mute indicator behavior is described under “Indicators.”
Factory Reset (via RES hole)
Remove the battery cover.
Double-press the RES reset hole.
Wait for “Restoring to default settings.”
All user data and custom settings are cleared.
9) Indicators (Meaning & Usage)
Door Lock Status Indicator
Blue: System awake; ready for operation.
Green: Door unlocked/open.
Red: Door locked/closed.
Low-Battery Voltage Indicator
Red flashing on wake: Battery is low; replace the battery set promptly.
Voice prompt: “Low battery voltage, please replace all batteries.”
Outside Forced-Lock Indicator
White steady when locked: Outside forced-lock is available.
White on wake in forced-lock mode: Outside forced-lock is enabled.
Mute Mode Indicator
White: Mute off.
Green: Mute on.
Inside Deadlock Indicator / Behavior
In deadlock, manually waking the keypad shows the combination “15937(X)” and the voice prompt “Inside deadlock enabled.”
Outside operations are disabled except for master PIN verification or a mechanical key.
System Freezing Indicator (Lock-out on Repeated Errors)
After 5 consecutive incorrect verifications within 5 minutes, the system locks for 3 minutes.
Indicator sequence: flashes (three times, twice, once) as the lock-out countdown progresses.
[OPEN/CLOSE] Indicator
Red flashes twice: Door locked successfully.
Green flashes twice: Door unlocked successfully.
Red flashes once: Inside deadlock enabled.
Infrared Sensor Unlocking Indicator
Fast green flashing: Infrared indoor unlocking is on.
Fast red flashing: Infrared indoor unlocking is off.
10) Alerts & Troubleshooting
Alert Types and Clearing
Low-Battery Voltage Alert
Trigger: System detects low battery on wake.
Behavior: Voice prompt to replace all batteries.
Clear: Replace battery; alert clears automatically.
Alert to Unlock from Inside Under Outside Forced-Lock Mode
Trigger: Unlocking from inside while the outside forced lock is enabled.
Behavior: Repeating alert.
Clear: Successful identity verification or authorized unlock from outside.
Anti-Dismantling Alerts
Door pried and latch pops: Repeating alert; clears automatically or after proper verification.
Outside escutcheon pried (gap detected): Repeating alert; clears automatically, after verification, or after normal inside unlock.
Anomalous Deadbolt Alert
Trigger: Deadbolt fails to lock or unlock normally.
Behavior: Repeating alert.
Clear: Clears automatically after the fault condition resolves.
Power & Battery
The lock uses 1.5V alkaline AA batteries.
The inside escutcheon contains a pull-out battery cassette.
To replace batteries:
Press the button on the bottom of the inside escutcheon to remove the battery cover.
Push the battery compartment buckle upward and pull out the cassette.
Replace all eight (8) AA batteries.
Operating voltage is 12V, so 8 alkaline batteries are required.
Emergency External Power
When the battery voltage is low, and the door cannot be opened from outside, you can power up the lock by plugging 5V power bank into the micro USB. After the door is unlocked, please replace the batteries instantly. If the system crash occurs and the door can not be unlocked from outside, please press and release the reboot button to restart the system.
