1) Important Information

Safety

  • Read and understand all instructions before use. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse.

2) Assembly

Packing List (reference only; actual items prevail)

  • Exterior assembly with silicon pad; interior assembly with silicon pad; mortise; drilling template; user manual; warranty card; mechanical key; batteries; installation kit; strike plate; key tag.

Exploded Views (key components)

  • Battery cover anchor screw; battery cover; four AAA batteries; anchor screws; interior assembly; mortise; mortise anchor screws; M6 screw tubes; square shaft; exterior assembly; cover.

Notice Before Assembling

  • The product supports four door opening directions: left-hand inswing, left-hand outswing, right-hand inswing, right-hand outswing.

  • Adjustable exterior lever: loosen the screw, rotate the lever 180 degrees to the required position, align the square shaft hole triangular mark with the lever direction, then secure.

  • Adjustable rear lever: loosen the screw, rotate 180 degrees to the required position, then secure.

  • Choose the correct installation kit for the door thickness. The default kit supports 35–60 mm. Cut the square shaft to proper length if too long.

  • Adjustable latch:

    1. Determine latch direction by door swing (slant toward outside = inswing; slant toward inside = outswing).

    2. Push the latch in and rotate 180 degrees.

    3. Release the latch to rebound.

    4. Pull the lock-out bolt bar upward.

Assembly Procedures (example for right-hand swing; adjust first for left-hand)

  1. Drill the door using the drilling template. Install the mortise in the jamb and secure the anchor screws.

  2. Attach connecting screw tubes to the exterior assembly and insert the square shaft. Ensure the protruding part is fully seated.

  3. Pass the connecting cable through the hole, align and insert the square shaft of the exterior assembly into the mortise rotary hole, and seat the exterior assembly firmly on the door surface.

  4. Connect cables to the interior assembly sockets, align the square shaft, seat the interior assembly on the inner surface, then secure the top and bottom with M6 anchor screws.

  5. Install four AAA batteries, secure the battery cover with screws, install the interior assembly cover, and confirm all parts are firmly connected.

Attention:

  • Cut the square shaft to the proper length for the door thickness.

  • Ensure the interior assembly cover is securely fastened to prevent it from falling when the door closes.


3) Get to Know Your Lock

Exterior Assembly β€” Identifiers

  • Indicator, keypad, card reader, mute button, fingerprint sensor, exterior lever, key hole, reset, and power supply interface.

Interior Assembly β€” Identifiers

  • Battery compartment, interior lever, reset button, and cover.

User Number and Icon Annotations

  • You may record user numbers (e.g., 000–009) for management; you can delete a user by user number. Icons: master PIN, user PIN, user number, fingerprint, [#] key, key tag, [*] key.


4) Settings

Before You Start

  • The system has two modes:
    β€’ General mode: any enrolled access method unlocks.
    β€’ Dual-verification mode: any two among PIN, key tag, and fingerprint are required.

  • Press the [*] key to return to the previous menu. The default initial PIN code is 12345678.

Master Access Method Settings

  1. Press [#] and enter the master PIN, then press [#] to confirm or press [#] and swipe the master key tag or scan the master fingerprint to enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] to enter Master Access Method Settings, then press [1] again to add a master access method.

  3. If setting for the first time, you may press [#] to enter master mode, then press [1] twice to add the master access method and complete the remaining settings.

Master Access Types β€” How to Add

  • Master PIN:

    1. Press [#], enter a new master PIN, press [#].

    2. Re-enter the master PIN, press [#].

    3. Wait for the success voice prompt, then press [*] repeatedly to exit.

  • Master Fingerprint:

    1. Place a finger on the sensor.

    2. When prompted β€œPlease press again,” lift and place again, repeating until success is announced.

    3. Press [*] repeatedly to exit.

  • Master Key Tag:

    1. Place the tag near the card reader until the success prompt.

    2. Press [*] repeatedly to exit.

Delete a Master Access Method

  1. Enter master mode (see step 1 above).

  2. Enter the user number of the master access method to delete and press [#].

  3. After you hear the deletion success prompt, press [*] repeatedly to exit.

User Settings

Add a User

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [2] for User Settings.

  3. Press [1] to add a user.

  4. Choose the access type to add:

    • PIN: Enter new user PIN, press [#]. Re-enter the PIN, press [#]. Wait for the success prompt, then press [*] to exit.

    • Fingerprint: Place enrolled finger; when prompted, lift and press again until success. Press [*] to exit.

    • Key Tag: Place the tag on the reader until success. Press [*] to exit.

Delete a User

  • Option A β€” Delete by User Number

    1. Enter master mode.

    2. Press [2] for User Settings, then press [2] to delete a user.

    3. Enter the user number to delete and press [#].

    4. After the success prompt, press [*] to exit.

  • Option B β€” Delete All Users

    1. Follow the lock’s voice prompt and press [#] to confirm deletion of all user information.

Admin Deletion (if applicable)

  1. Enter admin settings with [1].

  2. Press [2] to delete an admin.

User Number Query

  • After unlocking with any enrolled access method, press [*] to hear the user number of that access method.

System Settings

System Mode (General vs Dual-Verification)

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [3] for System Settings.

  3. Press [2] for System Mode Settings.

  4. Press [1] for General Mode (any enrolled method unlocks). Press [2] for Dual-Verification Mode (two enrolled methods among PIN, fingerprint, and key tag). After the success prompt, press [*] to exit.

Voice Guide

  1. Enter master mode, press [3] for System Settings.

  2. Press [1] for Voice Guide Settings.

  3. Press [1] to enable, or press [2] to disable (mute). Press [*] to exit.

Language

  1. Enter master mode, press [3] for System Settings.

  2. Press [3] for Language Settings.

  3. Press [1] for Chinese or [2] for English, then press [*] to exit.

Network Settings and App Binding (Tuya Smart)

Network Settings

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [4] for Network Settings.

  3. Press [1] to connect to a hotspot or press [2] for Auto Connect. After the success prompt, the system exits master mode.

Application Binding (Tuya Smart App)

  1. Connect the lock to power.

  2. Enter master mode, press [4] for Network Settings, then press [1] for hotspot or [2] for Auto Connect. Log in to the Tuya Smart App to proceed.

  3. In the Tuya Smart App, tap the β€œ+” in the top right, select Door lock (Wi-Fi) under Camera/Lock, and follow the binding instructions.

  4. Download the Tuya Smart App via the QR code or app store if needed.

Wi-Fi Notes

  • Only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi is supported (not 5 GHz). Keep the line-of-sight distance between the router and the lock under 10 meters for a good signal.

Dual-Verification Note (Master)

  • Under dual-verification mode, any enrolled master access method can open the door.


5) Using Your Lock

Outdoor Unlock

By Key Tag

  1. Place an enrolled key tag on the card reader.

  2. After the success prompt, press down the lever to open.

By Fingerprint

  1. Place an enrolled finger on the fingerprint sensor.

  2. After the success prompt, press down the lever to open.

By PIN Code

  1. Touch to wake the keypad.

  2. Enter an enrolled PIN, then press [#] to confirm.

  3. After the success prompt, press down the lever to open.

Indoor Unlock

  • Press down the interior lever to unlock.

Locking

Outdoor Locking

  1. Close the door.

  2. Lift up the handle; the latch bolt automatically pops out to lock the door.

Indoor Locking

Mechanical Key Unlock (Emergency Only)

  1. Take the mechanical key from the package.

  2. Insert it into the keyhole at the bottom of the exterior assembly.

6) Other Features

Restore Default Settings (Factory Reset)

  1. Press and hold the RES button for 6 seconds with a pointed object.

  2. When prompted β€œPress [#] for confirmation,” press [#].

  3. All user information is erased and the lock is restored to default.

Mute Button (Temporary Mute / Unmute)

  • Function: enables mute mode so you will not disturb others.

  • How to use:

    1. To mute: when the exterior assembly lights up, press the mute button for 2 seconds.

    2. To unmute: when the exterior assembly lights up, press the mute button for 2 seconds until the success prompt; the voice guide is restored.

Passage Mode (Free Passage)

  • Function: When enabled, anyone can open the lock by pressing down the lever without an enrolled access method.

  • How to use:

    1. To turn on: verify using any master access method; when the [5] and [*] keys light up, press 5, then press [#] to confirm.

    2. To turn off: after passage mode is on, unlocking once with any enrolled access method will turn it off.

Verification Code and Local Data Query

  1. Light the touchscreen.

  2. Enter 400# to hear the verification code (broadcast automatically).

  3. Enter 114# to hear the local software version (broadcast automatically).


7) Indicators

Status Indicator β€” Colors and Meanings

  • Blue: system wakes up and is ready for operation.

  • Green: unlocked successfully.

  • Red: verification failed or setting error.
    ​Note: the indicator appears only when the touchscreen is lit or an access method is being verified.

System Locking Indicator

  • After five consecutive failed verifications (fingerprint, PIN, or key tag) within five minutes, the lock enters a 100-second lockout; the indicator stays on for 3 seconds.


8) Troubleshooting, Power, and Battery

Alert Types

  • Low Battery Alert: triggered automatically when the system wakes and detects low voltage; voice prompt on unlocking; turns off automatically.

  • Anti-Dismantling Alert: triggered if the outside escutcheon is pried open, creating a gap; repeats until it turns off automatically, successful identity verification occurs, or the door is unlocked normally from inside.

External Power Supply (Emergency)

  1. If batteries are too low to open from outside, connect a 5V power bank to the Type-C port to power the lock.

  2. After opening, replace the batteries immediately.

Battery Replacement

  • Power: four AAA alkaline batteries.

  • To replace: unscrew the interior assembly cover screws, remove the cover, replace all four batteries, then reinstall.
