1) Safety, Caution, and Disposal
Safety
Before first use, read and understand all instructions. Damage caused by not following instructions is not covered by warranty.
Use only manufacturer-specified accessories.
Use only alkaline batteries or the provided lithium polymer batteries (or same specification).
Do not forcibly disassemble the lock.
Do not scrape the fingerprint sensor with sharp objects.
Keep the product away from water splashes or leaks and corrosive substances.
Do not hang objects on the handle; clean with a soft, damp cloth.
Do not remove batteries during setup or operation.
Have professional personnel install the lock; keep sealed stickers intact.
After installation and troubleshooting, immediately change the default master PIN, store mechanical keys safely, and do not share PINs.
Replace or recharge batteries promptly when the low-battery alert appears and observe correct polarity.
Caution
Keep batteries away from ignition sources.
Do not power the product with unsafe power sources.
Avoid short-circuiting battery poles with metal objects.
Installation or component replacement must be done by Philips, an authorized service center, or professional technicians.
Do not use unauthorized accessories or parts (may void warranty).
Disposal of Used Products and Batteries
Return used products to authorized Philips service centers; compensation may be available if conditions are met.
Follow local regulations for separate collection of used products and batteries; do not dispose of batteries with household waste. Proper disposal reduces environmental and health impacts.

3) Installation Overview
Installation should be performed by qualified personnel. Confirm door swing and adjust components before assembly.
Notices Before Assembling
Supported door swings: left-hand inswing, left-hand outswing, right-hand inswing, right-hand outswing.
Select the correct installation kit for the door thickness.
Adjustable Latch/Deadbolt Instructions
Use an Allen wrench to loosen and remove the mortise plate screws.
Remove the deadbolt, rotate it 180 degrees, then reinstall it to match the door swing direction.
Re-install the mortise plate and tighten screws.
Assembly Steps (high-level)
Drill according to the template; mount the mortise in the door and secure with four anchor screws.
Install connecting screw tubes on the exterior assembly; insert the mortise tumbler.
Pass assembly and mortise cables through the door hole; align and insert the tumbler into the rotary hole so the exterior assembly fits flush.
Align the interior mounting plate and tighten the interior anchor screws to secure the exterior assembly.
Important fit notes: Ensure the latch bolt does not protrude during installation; after inserting the mortise tumbler, the exposed length should be 10–20 mm above the door surface.
4) General and Dual Verification Modes
The system modes include the general mode and dual verification mode.
General mode - Door can be opened using any enrolled access method.
Dual verification mode - Door can be opened using any two combinations of fingerprint, PIN code, key tag, or face ID.
5) Master Mode and User Capacity
Enter Master Mode
Press the star key [*] twice.
Enter the master PIN code.
Press the hash key [#] to confirm.
Supported User Capacity
Fingerprints: up to 100
User PIN codes: up to 20
Key tags: up to 100
Face IDs: up to 50
6) User Management
Add a User (PIN / Fingerprint / Key Tag)
Press the star key [*] twice, enter the master PIN, then press the hash key [#].
Press [1] to enter settings.
Press [1] again to add a user.
Follow the voice prompts. The lock auto-detects the method you present (PIN, fingerprint, key tag).
How to Add a PIN Code (example flow)
Touch the keypad to wake it.
Enter the new PIN and press the hash key [#] when prompted.
Wait for the success prompt.
How to Add a Fingerprint (example flow)
Place the target finger on the fingerprint sensor as prompted.
Follow the voice prompts until success.
How to Add a Key Tag
Place the new key tag on the key tag recognition area.
After the success prompt, press the star key [*] to return and exit.
Modify or Add a Master Fingerprint
Press the star key [*] twice, enter the master PIN, then press the hash key [#].
Press [1] to enter settings.
Press [4] to add or modify the master fingerprint.
If no master fingerprint exists, input a new fingerprint; it will become the master fingerprint.
After the success prompt, press the star key [*] to exit.
Change the Master PIN Code
Press the star key [*] twice, enter the master PIN, then press the hash key [#].
Press [1] to enter settings.
Press [5] to modify the master PIN code.
Enter a new master PIN, press the hash key [#] to confirm; re-enter it and press the hash key [#] again to confirm.
After the success prompt, press the star key [*] to exit.
Delete a User (Single Method)
Press the star key [*] twice, enter the master PIN, then press the hash key [#].
Press [1] to enter settings.
Press [6] to delete a user.
Choose the access method to delete: press [1] for PIN, press [2] for fingerprint, press [3] for key tag.
Follow voice prompts; after deletion succeeds, press the star key [*] to exit.
7) Network Settings and App Binding
Official App
Download and install Home Access from your app store (scan the QR code in the manual if provided).
Add the Door Lock in the App (Bluetooth binding)
Install the batteries.
Enable Bluetooth on your phone and open the app.
Tap Add a device on the app home page.
Follow the app prompts to complete network binding.
8) Daily Use
Outdoor Unlock Methods
PIN Code
Touch to wake the keypad.
Enter the enrolled PIN.
Press the hash key [#] to confirm.
After the voice prompt “Verification succeeded, please open the door,” push or pull the handle to unlock.
Fingerprint
Place the enrolled finger on the fingerprint sensor.
After the success prompt, push or pull the handle to unlock.
Key Tag
Place the enrolled key tag on the key tag recognition area.
After the success prompt, push or pull the handle to unlock.
Indoor Unlock Options
Toggle switch: Move the indoor toggle switch left or right to unlock quickly.
OPEN button: Press the OPEN button twice within one second, then push or pull the handle.
Infrared handle: Touch the inner side of the handle; the built-in infrared sensor unlocks the door.
Indoor Locking
After closing the door, the lock auto-extends the bolt and announces that the door is closed. If auto-locking fails, press the CLOSE button to lock manually.
Privacy Mode (Indoor)
After closing the door, press and hold the CLOSE button for 3 seconds.
While privacy mode is on, the door can only be opened from outside with a master PIN or a mechanical key.
9) Mechanical Key (Emergency Unlock)
Use only in emergencies (battery drained, forgotten PIN, malfunction). Store the key outside the home in a safe place (office, car, or secure location).
How to Unlock with the Mechanical Key
Cut the key box, take out the mechanical key, press the release switch, and slide out the key.
Insert the key into the keyhole with the key casing vertical; rotate the key casing 90° toward the handle until it is close to the door surface.
Rotate the key casing 180° downward until it is parallel to the horizontal plane, then turn the casing toward the handle to unlock.
10) Indicators
Status Indicator (front)
Blue: system wakes and is ready for operation.
Green: door unlocked.
Red: door locked.
When the doorbell is pressed, the indicator lights in blue and flashes. App “Do Not Disturb” can disable indoor chimes.
Low Battery Indicator
Red low-battery light appears after the lock wakes if voltage is low; a voice prompt reminds you to replace batteries during unlocking.
Armed Mode Indicator
When the lock is secured, the number key “8” lights white to indicate you can activate armed mode.
Five consecutive incorrect attempts within five minutes (fingerprint, PIN, or key tag) trigger a 100-second system lockout (system locking indicator displays countdown).
11) Alerts and Troubleshooting
Armed Mode Alert
Trigger: When the lock is in armed mode, opening the door from inside triggers an alert.
Alert method: Continuous, repeated alert sound.
Stop: Alert turns off automatically after successful verification (or as specified).
Low Battery Alert
Trigger: Automatic voltage check at wake.
Alert method: Voice prompt “Low battery, please replace the battery” during unlocking.
Stop: Alert turns off automatically.
Tamper Alerts
Trigger 1: Door gap pried open causes the sensor latch to extend.
Trigger 2: Exterior assembly is pried and misaligned.
Alert method: Continuous, repeated alert sound.
Stop: Turns off automatically, or after successful verification from outside, or unlocking from inside.
12) Other Features
Mute Mode (Quick Toggle)
Function: Silence voice prompts during unlock.
To enable: While the system is awake, press and hold 0 for 2 seconds; the lock announces “Mute mode.”
To disable: While the system is awake, press and hold 0 for 2 seconds; the lock announces “Voice mode.”
Factory Reset
Function: Erases all user data and restores default settings.
How to reset: Double-press the RES button with a sharp object.
Doorbell
Function: Plays a ding-dong tone on the indoor speaker when pressed.
13) Power and Batteries
Apply External Power (When Batteries Are Drained)
If batteries are low and outdoor unlock fails, connect a 5V power bank to the charging port to power and restart the system as needed; replace batteries promptly after unlocking.
Battery Replacement
Note that the lock operates on four AA alkaline batteries; the compartment holds up to eight to extend life.
Press and hold the triangular push area and slide the battery cover upward to remove it, then replace batteries.
14) Network and App (Summary)
Install batteries and add the lock via the Home Access app using Bluetooth.
In the app, tap Add a device and follow on-screen prompts to complete binding.

How to enable privacy mode:
Close the door.

Push or pull the handle to open.
How to unlock indoors with the infrared handle:
Touch the inner side of the handle.
Push or pull the handle when prompted.
How to unlock with the mechanical key:
Press the release switch and slide out the key.
Insert the key with the casing vertical; rotate the casing 90° toward the handle to align with the door.
Rotate the casing 180° downward until parallel to the floor, then turn it toward the handle to unlock.
How to reset the lock (factory reset):
Use a pointed object to double-press the RES button.
All user data is erased; settings return to default.
How to apply external power:
Connect a 5V power bank to the charging port.
Unlock, then replace batteries promptly.
If the system malfunctions, connecting 5V power also restarts the system.
