1) Important Information

Safety

  • Read and fully understand all instructions before use. Damage caused by not following the instructions is not covered by the warranty.

  • Do not remove the batteries during setup or operation.

  • After installation and testing, change the default master PIN code immediately. Keep mechanical keys safe and do not disclose PIN codes.

Notice Before Assembling

  • Supported door swing directions: left-hand inswing, left-hand outswing, right-hand inswing, right-hand outswing.

  • Select the correct installation kit for your door thickness.

  • Keep the latch bolt retracted during installation.

  • If the square shaft or tumbler is too long, trim it to the specified protrusion range for your door thickness before final assembly.

Change Latch Bolt Orientation

  1. Remove the mortise faceplate screws.

  2. Pull out the latch bolt, rotate it 180 degrees to match the door swing.

  3. Reinsert the latch bolt and reinstall the faceplate; tighten screws.

Assembly Procedures (right-hand example; mirror for left-hand doors)

  1. Mark and drill using the template. Install the mortise in the door edge and fasten anchor screws.

  2. Install the screw tubes on the outside escutcheon. Insert the square shaft or mortise tumbler (trim length to spec if required).

  3. Pass the escutcheon cable(s) and mortise cable through the main bore. Seat the outside escutcheon flush.

  4. Place the mounting plate on the interior side and tighten the connecting screws to secure the outside escutcheon.

  5. Connect the escutcheon cable(s) and mortise cable to the inside escutcheon.

  6. Align the square shaft with the mortise hub, tuck excess wiring inside the bore, and secure the inside escutcheon with the specified screws.

  7. Install batteries and the battery cover, then install any decorative covers.

  8. Verify smooth handle movement, thumb-turn operation, and mechanical key function.

4) Settings

Instructions Before Setting

  • System modes:

    • General mode: Unlock with any one enrolled method.

    • Dual-verification mode: Unlock requires two of the enrolled methods (for example, fingerprint plus PIN).

  • User numbering: Use a user number table to manage and delete individual users without clearing the entire database.

  • Key hints: [#] confirms; [*] returns to the previous menu.

  • Default master PIN: 12345678 (change this immediately).

Enter Master Mode

Method A β€” Master PIN

  1. Wake the touchscreen.

  2. Press the star key [*] twice.

  3. Enter the master PIN code.

  4. Press [#] to confirm.

Method B β€” Master fingerprint (if set)

  1. Wake the touchscreen.

  2. Press the star key [*] twice.

  3. Place the enrolled master fingerprint when prompted.

Add Users

Add a user (automatic recognition)

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Press [1] for Settings, then press [1] to add a user.

  3. Present the intended access method when prompted (PIN code, fingerprint, or key tag). The lock will auto-detect and enroll it.

Add a user PIN code

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Enter a 6–12 digit PIN code and press [#].

  3. Re-enter the same PIN code and press [#].

  4. After the success prompt, press [*] to exit.

Add a fingerprint

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Place your finger on the sensor.

  3. When prompted, lift and place your finger again.

  4. Repeat until you hear the success prompt.

  5. Press [*] to exit.

Add a key tag (if equipped)

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Present the key tag to the reader area when prompted until the success prompt is heard.

Modify Master Credentials

Change the master PIN code

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Open Settings and select Modify master PIN.

  3. Enter the new master PIN; press [#].

  4. Re-enter the new master PIN; press [#] to confirm.

Add or replace the master fingerprint (if equipped)

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Open Settings and select Master fingerprint.

  3. Enroll the new master fingerprint as prompted.

Delete Users

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Open Settings, then select Delete user.

  3. Choose the item to delete:

    1. A specific PIN code

    2. A specific fingerprint

    3. A specific key tag

    4. All users

  4. Follow voice/menu prompts until β€œSucceeded,” then press [*] to exit.

System Settings

Language

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Open System settings, then select Language.

  3. Choose your language per the voice/menu options.

Voice volume / Mute

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Open System settings, then select Volume.

  3. Choose High, Low, or Mute.

  4. Outside of menus, you can also long-press the Mute button for 2 seconds to toggle mute on many EasyKey models.

Dual-verification mode

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Open System settings, then enable or disable Dual-verification.

  3. When enabled, two enrolled methods must be verified to unlock.

Lock | Auto / Manual Modes

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Open System settings and select Auto/Manual Lock.

  3. Choose one of the following:

    1. Auto mode On: the lock auto-locks after the door is closed.

    2. Auto mode Off (Manual mode): locking must be done manually after closing.

  4. In Manual mode, lock from outside by verifying once and then pressing CLOSE if prompted; lock from inside by pressing CLOSE or turning the thumb turn.

Network / App (if supported by your package)

  1. Install batteries and power on.

  2. Open the companion app and add the device; follow in-app prompts to bind.

  3. Complete any Wi-Fi/Bluetooth configuration steps as instructed by the app.

System Query (if available in menu)

  1. Enter master mode.

  2. Open Information or System query.

  3. Review operation logs, storage usage, and version information as prompted.


5) Get to Use Your Lock

Unlock from Outside

With a PIN code

  1. Wake the keypad.

  2. Enter a registered PIN code.

  3. Press [#] to confirm.

  4. Operate the handle after the success prompt.

With a fingerprint (if equipped)

  1. Place a registered finger on the sensor.

  2. Operate the handle after the success prompt.

With a key tag (if equipped)

  1. Present a registered tag to the reader area.

  2. Operate the handle after the success prompt.

Unlock from Inside

  1. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button twice within one second if present, or

  2. Turn the interior thumb turn to unlock.

Locking

Auto-lock (if enabled)

  1. Close the door fully; the lock engages automatically and a voice prompt confirms lock status.

Manual lock

  1. Close the door.

  2. Press the CLOSE button or turn the interior thumb turn to lock.

  3. If Manual mode is enabled, ensure you lock the door after closing.

Mechanical Key Unlock (Emergency)

  1. Expose the keyway.

  2. Insert the mechanical key and rotate to unlock.

  3. After entry, restore covers and replace batteries if needed.


6) Other Features

Mute mode (quick toggle)

  1. When the system is awake, press and hold the Mute button for 2 seconds to toggle mute on or off.

Restore to Default Settings (Factory Reset)

  1. Use a pin tool to press the RES button twice.

  2. Wait for the voice confirmation that factory defaults are restored.

  3. All user data will be erased.

Doorbell (if equipped)

  1. Press the doorbell button on the outside escutcheon to ring indoors.


7) Indicators (Typical for the 200/600/700 Series)

  • Status indicator: Blue when the system wakes; Green after unlock; Red after lock.

  • Low-battery indicator: Red or a voice prompt on wake/unlock when voltage is low.

  • Mute indicator: White indicator or voice confirmation when mute toggles.

  • System lockout indicator: After consecutive failed attempts, the keypad enters timed lockout; the indicator flashes to show remaining lockout time.


8) Troubleshooting and Power

Low battery alert

  1. When the system wakes, it checks voltage.

  2. If low, a voice prompt advises replacing all batteries.

  3. Replace all batteries promptly to ensure reliable operation.

Anti-dismantling / Tamper alert

  1. Triggered if the exterior escutcheon is pried or a large gap is detected.

  2. The alert repeats.

  3. It stops automatically, after a valid verification, or when the door is properly locked/unlocked.

Emergency external power

  1. Connect a 5 V power bank to the emergency power interface on the outside escutcheon.

  2. After unlocking, replace or recharge batteries immediately.

Battery replacement

  1. Open the battery cover on the inside escutcheon.

  2. Replace batteries as specified for the model, respecting polarity.

  3. Close the cover and test lock/unlock.
