1) Important Information
Safety
Read and understand all instructions before use. Damage caused by not following the instructions is not covered by the warranty.
Use only manufacturer-specified accessories and components.
Use only the alkaline batteries supplied with the product or alkaline batteries of the same type.
Do not forcibly disassemble the product; this may trigger an alarm or cause damage.
Do not scrape the fingerprint sensor with sharp objects.
Keep the product away from water leaks and splashes.
Do not expose the product to corrosive substances; this may damage protective coatings.
Do not hang objects on the handle.
Clean with a soft cloth dampened with water.
Do not remove the batteries during setup or operation.
Follow the assembly instructions and keep any factory seals intact.
Change the default master PIN code immediately after installation. Keep the mechanical keys safe and do not disclose PIN codes.
Replace all batteries immediately when the low-battery alert appears.
Caution
Keep batteries away from ignition sources to avoid explosions.
Use only safe power sources; do not short battery terminals with metal objects.
Assembly or component replacement must be performed by Philips, a Philips-authorized service center, or professional technicians.
Do not use third-party accessories not expressly recommended by Philips; doing so may void the warranty.
Disposal of Used Products and Batteries
You may have locks taken back at authorized Philips service centers where available.
Learn about local e-waste collection for electronics.
Follow local regulations; do not discard used products and batteries with household waste.
Follow local battery-recycling rules to prevent environmental and health risks.

Notice Before Assembling
Supported door directions: left-hand inswing, left-hand outswing, right-hand inswing, right-hand outswing.
Select the correct drilling template for your door swing direction and drill accordingly.
Assembly Procedures
(Illustrations in the manual show a right-hand swing door. For left-hand swing doors, invert the interior assembly and follow the correct strike-plate orientation.)
Pass the connecting cables of the exterior assembly through the door hole.
Secure the mounting plate with screws.
Insert the exterior assembly cables into the interior assembly.
Install the interior assembly and secure it with screws.
Install the strike plate and secure it with screws.
βAttention: Hide the excess cable in the door hole. After installation, verify that all components are connected correctly and firmly assembled.

4) Settings
Instructions Before Setting
System modes:
General mode: Any enrolled method can unlock the door.
Dual-verification mode: Requires both a valid fingerprint and PIN code to unlock.
User number: Each user is indexed (for example, 00β09 in the sample table). Keep your own table to track user information.
Key annotations: [#] confirms; [*] returns to the previous menu.
Default initial master PIN code:
12345678.
Enter Master Mode
Method A β Master PIN code
Light up the touchscreen.
Press [*] twice.
Enter the master PIN code, then press [#].
Method B β Master fingerprint
Light up the touchscreen.
Press [*] twice.
Place the enrolled master fingerprint on the sensor.
Attention:
If the master PIN is still the default, enter master mode, press [1], then [5] to modify the master PIN before other operations.
The lock is not shipped with a master fingerprint. Add one before use and avoid using the same finger for master and user fingerprints.
Add Users
Add a user (auto-recognition of method)
Enter master mode.
Press [1] (User settings), then press [1] (Add user).
Provide the credential directly:
User PIN code: Enter 6β12 digits, press [#], re-enter, press [#].
Fingerprint: Place the finger; when prompted βPlease press again,β lift and place again until success.
Press [*] repeatedly to exit master mode after hearing βSucceeded.β
Add a one-time PIN code
Enter master mode.
Press [1] (User settings), then [2] (One-time PIN).
Enter a 6β12 digit PIN, press [#]; re-enter, press [#].
Press [*] to exit.
Add or modify the master fingerprint
Enter master mode.
Press [1] (User settings), then [4] (Master fingerprint).
If none is enrolled, the newly enrolled fingerprint becomes the master fingerprint.
If a master fingerprint exists, enrolling a new one replaces it.
Press [*] to exit after success.
Modify the master PIN code
Enter master mode.
Press [1] (User settings), then [5] (Modify master PIN).
Enter the new master PIN, press [#]; re-enter, press [#].
Press [*] to exit.
Delete user information
Enter master mode.
Press [1] (User settings), then [6] (Delete).
Choose the item to delete and follow the prompt:
Delete a PIN code
Delete a fingerprint
Delete all user information
Press [*] to exit after success.
System Settings
Language
Enter master mode.
Press [2] (System settings), then [1] (Language).
Press [1] = Chinese, [2] = English, [3] = Spanish, [4] = Portuguese, [5] = Indonesian.
Press [*] to exit.
Default language: Chinese.
Voice (Volume) settings
Enter master mode.
Press [2] (System settings), then [2] (Voice).
Press [1] = High, [2] = Low, [3] = Mute.
Press [*] to exit.
Default volume: High.
Dual-verification mode On/Off
Enter master mode.
Press [2] (System settings), then [4] (Dual-verification).
Follow the prompt to enable or disable.
Default system mode: General mode.
Locking mode β Auto / Manual
Enter master mode.
Press [2] (System settings), then [6] (Auto mode).
Follow the prompt to turn Auto mode on or off.
Default: Auto mode On.
Manual mode behavior: When Auto mode is turned off, locking becomes manual. From the outside, a fingerprint or PIN is required to lock. From inside, you can lock using the keypad or thumb turn.
Network Configuration & App Binding
Join a network
Enter master mode.
Press [4] (Network configuration), then [1] (Join a network).
The lock exits master mode automatically once the configuration is completed.
App binding (Philips EasyKey Plus)
βOption A β Scan to add
Ensure the lock is powered on and locate the QR code on the interior battery cover.
Open Philips EasyKey Plus and tap Add a device.
Scan the QR code and follow in-app prompts to complete binding.
Option B β Manual add
In the app, tap Add a device β Manual add.
Search for the lock model and enter the network-binding page.
Follow in-app prompts to finish setup.
5) Get to Use Your Lock
Outdoor Unlock
With PIN code
Touch the keypad to wake it.
Enter a registered PIN code and press [#].
With fingerprint
Place a registered finger on the fingerprint sensor.
Indoor Unlock
With a thumb turn
Turn the thumb turn to the green mark to unlock.
With a functional button
Press the functional button twice to unlock.
6) Other Features
Restore to Default Settings (Factory Reset)
Press the [RES] button twice.
All user information is erased, and the lock is restored to default settings.
βAttention: Restoring to factory settings clears all data. Proceed with caution.
One-Key Mute
Function: Temporarily disables voice prompts if you do not want to disturb others.
βHow to use:
While the system is awake, press and hold the Mute button for 2 seconds to enter one-time mute mode (white light).
While the system is awake, press and hold the Mute button for 2 seconds to return to voice mode (white light).
Lock-out Mode (Outside Forced Lock)
Function: Triggers an alarm if the door is opened from inside while this mode is active.
βEnable: After locking the door, press 8 to enter lock-out mode.
βNote: This does not affect normal opening from the outside.
Indoor Lock-out (Inside Deadlock)
After locking, press and hold the functional button until the voice prompt announces that the door is locked from the inside.
When the door is locked, the touchscreen is also locked. To unlock from outside, use the master PIN code or unlock from inside.
During access attempts, the system displays βlockedβ without an βXβ flashing.
7) Indicators
Status Indicator (front)
Blue: System awakened; ready to operate.
Green: Door unlocked/open.
Red: Door locked/closed.
Low-Battery Indicator (front)
On wake, the system checks the voltage. If low, the indicator flashes red and a voice prompt instructs you to replace the batteries promptly.
Lock-out Mode Indicator (front)
White: When locked, the digit β8β key lights independently to indicate that lock-out mode can be enabled.
System-Locking Indicator (front)
After 5 consecutive incorrect attempts of any enrolled method within 5 minutes, the lock enters a 100-second lockout:
Within 2 minutes remaining: digit β2β blinks.
Within 1 minute remaining: digit β1β blinks.
Prompts appear only when the touchscreen is lit or during verification.
8) Troubleshooting & Alerts
Lock-out Mode Alert
Trigger: The Door is opened from inside while lock-out mode is active.
Alert: Continuous repeated alarm sound.
Off: Stops after successful identity verification.
Low-Battery Alert
Trigger: Low voltage detected when the system wakes.
Alert: Voice prompt to replace batteries promptly.
Off: Turns off automatically after replacement.
9) Power and Batteries
Apply External Power (Emergency)
If the battery voltage is too low to open from outside, connect a 5V power bank to the front Type-C port.
Unlock the door, then replace the batteries immediately.
Battery Replacement
Working power: 4 Γ AA alkaline batteries.
Battery compartment location: upper end of the interior assembly.
Push the battery cover up and replace the batteries.
