7300 Troubleshooting: Keytag rejection

Updated over a month ago

Step 1: Check Key Tag Registration - Confirm the key tag is registered to the lock.

Solution:

    • Register the key tag using the voice guide or user manual, or

    • Test with another registered key tag.

Step 2: Identify the Faulty Key Tag - Test the lock using multiple key tags.

    • Only one key tag fails → The key tag is faulty; replace it.

    • Multiple key tags fail → Proceed to Step 3.

Step 3: Check Battery Level

    • Replace batteries with a fresh set of disposable alkaline batteries.

    • Test the key tags again.

Step 4: Perform a Factory Reset (If Issue Persists)

⚠️ Note: This will erase all user data and will revert the master PIN to default: 12345678

Steps:

    • Remove the inside lower cover.

    • Double-press the RES button using a pointed object.

    • Listen for the voice prompt: “Restored to factory settings.”

    • Reprogram/re-register all PINs, fingerprints, and key tags.

Step 5: Replace Outside Panel (If Issue Persists) - If the issue continues after Step 4, replace the OUTSIDE PANEL following the Warranty Claim & Technical Escalation procedure.
