If the lock unlocks from the outside without authentication (PIN, fingerprint, or key tag) and cannot unlock properly from the inside, the directional screws are likely installed incorrectly. The heads of the directional screws must face the interior side of the door (inside panel). If installed in the opposite direction, the lock will operate in reverse.
Using a screwdriver, fully remove the directional screws and place them safely on a tray.
Rotate each screw 180° and reinstall so the screw heads face the inside (interior) side of the door.
Tighten until snug only. ⚠️ Do not over-torque.
