7300 Troubleshooting: Locked-Out / No Power / No Response

Updated over a month ago

Issue:
The smart lock is not responding — no lights or sounds when using the PIN, card, fingerprint, or app.

Possible Cause:
Batteries are completely depleted.

Quick Solutions

Option 1: Use the Mechanical Key

  • Locate the mechanical keyhole on the outside panel.

  • Insert the key and turn to unlock the door.

Tip: If the key is not available or the lock is frozen, press and release the Soft Reset button. This will reboot the lock without deleting any programs.

Option 2: Emergency External Power

  • The lock has a micro-USB emergency power port near the mechanical keyhole.

Steps:

  1. Connect a micro-USB cable to the lock.

  2. Connect the other end to a power bank or external power source.

  3. Once the lock powers on, unlock it using your usual method.

Important Notes:

  • This power is temporary only; it does not charge the batteries.

  • It is only used to unlock the door.

After unlocking, replace all batteries immediately with new disposable alkaline batteries and test the lock to ensure it works normally.

If the Lock Still Doesn’t Respond

  • Enter the house through another accessible door (e.g., garage or back door).

  • Replace all batteries with new ones immediately and test the lock to ensure normal operation.

Internal Note: If the lock still does not respond after replacing batteries, follow the Technical Escalation process.
