The automatic Face ID sensor continuously detects faces to unlock the door. Keeping it on can drain the batteries faster. It’s recommended to turn it off if you have an indoor screen installed.

How to Disable the Automatic Face ID Sensor

  1. Press the * key twice.

  2. Enter your Master PIN and press # to confirm.

  3. Press 2 to enter System Settings.

  4. Press 3 to enter Eco / Power Saving Settings.

  5. Press 3 for Sensor Settings:

    • 1 – High Sensitivity

    • 3 – Low Sensitivity

    • 4Disable Sensor


    Important Notes

    • Disabling automatic Face ID does not affect manual Face ID.

    • To use manual Face ID, tap the screen to activate the sensor before it can recognise your face.

    • The number 5 key will flash, indicating the lock is attempting to detect a face.
