DDL709-FVP-7HWS Troubleshooting: Key tag Rejection

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Step 1: Check Key Tag Registration

  • Ensure the key tag is registered.

  • Solution:

    • Register the key tag via the voice guide or user manual.

    • Alternatively, try using another registered key tag to confirm.

Step 2: Identify the faulty key tag

  • Test the lock with multiple key tags.

    • If only one key tag fails → the key tag is faulty → replace it.

    • If multiple key tags fail → proceed to Step 3.

Step 3: Check Battery Level

  • Replace the battery with a fully charged spare lithium battery.

  • Test the key tags again.

  • If the issue persists, go to Step 4.

Step 4: Perform Factory Reset

Note: This will erase all user data. The master PIN will reset to 12345678.

Steps:

  1. Remove the battery cover.

  2. Double-press the RES button using a pointed object.

  3. Listen for the prompt: “Restored to factory settings.”

  4. Reprogram all PINs, fingerprints, and key tags after the factory reset.

Step 5: Replace Outside Panel

  • If the issue continues after the above troubleshooting, replace the outside panel.

  • Follow the Warranty Claim & Technical Escalation procedure.
