Important Notes

  • Ensure the indoor screen is installed before starting setup.

  • Bluetooth and Location Services must be enabled on the mobile phone.

  • Use a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (5 GHz is not supported).

Setup Steps | Video guide

  1. On the door lock keypad, long-press #.

  2. Enter Master verification (Master PIN/fingerprint/key tag), then press #.

  3. Press 4 to access Network Settings.

  4. Press 1 to select Hotspot (AP Mode).

  5. Open the Tuya App.

  6. Tap Add Device.

  7. Select Camera & Lock → Lock WiFi.

  8. The app will detect your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

  9. Enter the Wi-Fi password, then tap Next.

  10. Tap on "Confirm the indicator is blinking rapidly", then tap Next.

  11. Check the lock’s status indicator. If its blinking rhythm matches the blinking pattern shown for AP Mode in the app, select AP Mode.

  12. Tap Go to Connect. You’ll be redirected to your phone’s Wi-Fi settings.

  13. Connect to the lock’s hotspot (e.g. Smart Life).

  14. Return to the Tuya App and wait while the app connects to the lock’s hotspot. The app enters the Connecting screen (≈2-minute countdown).

  15. When Operation Succeeded, tap Done.
