DDL702-1HWS Locking and Unlocking Methods - Inside & Outside

How to Lock from Outside & Inside:

Auto-Locking Enabled

  • From inside or outside:

    • The latch bolt automatically pops out as soon as the door is closed.

    • A voice prompt “Door closed” will be played.


Manual-Locking Enabled

  • From inside:

    • Press the [CLOSE] button once to lock the door.

  • From outside:

    • Enter a PIN code, then press [#], or

    • Use the mechanical key to lock the door.


Unlocking from Outside

  1. PIN Code (Master PIN ×1 | One-time PIN ×1 | User PIN ×20)

    1. Touch the digit input area to wake up the keypad.

    2. Enter the registered PIN code, then press [#] to confirm.

    3. After hearing the voice prompt “Door opened”, push or pull the door to unlock.

  2. Fingerprint (Up to 100 fingerprints)

    1. Place the registered finger on the fingerprint sensor.

    2. After hearing the voice prompt “Door opened”, push or pull the handle to unlock.

  3. Mechanical Key

    1. Cut open the mechanical key box and remove the key.

    2. Push the cover aside to reveal the keyhole.

    3. Insert the key vertically into the keyhole. Turn the key shell 90° toward the handle until it is close to the lock.

    4. Rotate the key 180° clockwise until the key shell is parallel to the horizontal plane. Rotate the key cover horizontally toward the handle to unlock.

Note: Daily use of the mechanical key is not recommended. Use it only in emergencies, such as:

  • Battery depletion

  • Forgotten PIN

  • System malfunction


Unlocking from Inside

  • Rotary Knob

    Rotate the rotary knob to unlock the door from the inside.

  • NOTE: The rotary knob is used for manual unlocking from the inside. Although the knob shows two directions, once installed, it will only turn in one direction to unlock, depending on the door orientation:

    • Left-handed door: Turn the knob clockwise to unlock.

    • Right-handed door: Turn the knob anticlockwise to unlock.Functional Button

  • Functional Button

    1. Double-press the [OPEN] button within one second.

    2. Push or pull the door to unlock.

  • Infrared Sensor

    • When the sensor is triggered, press the sensor modules on both the front and rear sides of the handle simultaneously to unlock.

    • To enable infrared sensor unlocking:
      When the infrared sensor unlocking is disabled, long-press the [OPEN/CLOSE] button to turn on the function.

      • The green indicator light will flash quickly, indicating the function is enabled.

    • To disable the infrared sensor unlocking:
      When the infrared sensor unlocking is enabled, long-press the [OPEN/CLOSE] button to turn off the function.

      • The red indicator light will flash quickly, indicating the function is disabled.

⚠️ When infrared sensor unlocking is disabled, indoor inductive unlocking is unavailable. If you touch both the front and rear sensing areas on the handle while the function is disabled, the red indicator light will illuminate to indicate that indoor inductive unlocking is turned off.
