DDL702-8HWS Troubleshooting: No sound / Mute

Step 1: Check Mute / Unmute Setting

Follow the steps in the image below to confirm whether the system is set to Mute or Unmute.

Step 2: Check Volume Settings

If the system is already set to Unmute but there is no sound, follow the steps in the image below to verify the volume level.

  • If the volume is set to high and there is still no sound, proceed to Step 3.

Step 3: Check Battery Level

Replace the batteries with a fresh set of disposable alkaline batteries.

Step 4: Perform a Factory Reset

**Note: This will erase all user data. The master PIN will reset to 12345678

  • Remove the inside lower cover.

  • Using a pointed object, double-press the RES button.

  • Listen for the voice prompt: “Restored to factory settings.”

  • Reprogram all PINs, fingerprints, and key tags.

  • Test the lock. If the issue persists, proceed to Step 5.

Step 5: Warranty Escalation

If the issue remains unresolved, proceed with the Warranty Claim & Technical Escalation procedure.
