The Door Position Sensor detects whether the door is open or closed and is required for features such as auto-lock and status detection.

1. Surface Mount (Recommended)

  • Uses the included mounting tape

  • No drilling required

  • Best option to avoid damaging the door or frame

Steps:

  1. Clean and dry the mounting surfaces on the door and door frame.

  2. Align the sensor and magnet according to the template.

  3. Secure both parts using the mounting tape only.

2. Flush Mount

  • Requires drilling holes in the door and door frame

  • Refer to the Door Position Sensor Mounting Template for exact measurements and installation steps

⚠️ Attention

  • If you want to use the Door Position Sensor without drilling, install the surface-mounted sensor using mounting tape only.

  • Ensure the sensor and magnet are properly aligned for accurate door status detection.
