Updated over 2 weeks ago

1. Using an External Power Supply

If the lock’s battery is too low or the system crashes:

  1. Connect a 5V power bank to the lock’s Micro USB interface.

  2. This will temporarily power the lock so you can open the door from the outside.

  3. Once the door is opened, replace the lock’s batteries immediately.

  4. If the system had crashed, powering it with the external supply may allow the lock to reboot automatically.

2. Replacing the Batteries

The door lock uses a 4200mAh lithium battery.

  1. Open the battery compartment, located at the upper end of the inside escutcheon.

  2. Slide the battery cover upwards and remove it.

  3. Take out the old battery and insert a new one.

  4. Replace the cover securely.

3. Charging the Batteries

If the battery is low:

  1. Connect a 5V power bank to the Micro USB port of the lock.

  2. This will charge the battery temporarily so the door can be opened.

  3. After opening, replace or recharge the battery as soon as possible.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Battery warranty: 1 year.

  • Charging voltage: 5V only.

  • Network impact: Unstable network usage may cause the battery to drain faster.
