Updated over 2 weeks ago

Applying an External Power Source

If the battery voltage is low and you are unable to unlock the door from the outside:

  1. Use a 5V power bank as an emergency power source.

  2. Connect the power bank to the emergency power terminals on the door lock (check diagram for location).

  3. Unlock the door normally.

  4. After unlocking, replace the batteries promptly.

Note:

  • In the event of a system malfunction preventing outside access, a 5V power bank can also be used to power the lock.

  • The system will automatically restart once powered.

Low Battery Alert

  • When the system awakens, it checks battery voltage automatically.

  • If the voltage is low, a voice prompt will alert:

โ€œLow battery, please replace the battery.โ€

  • The alert will turn off automatically after battery replacement.

Battery Replacement / Type / Life

  • The lock operates on 4 AA alkaline batteries, which last approximately 5 months (varies depending on usage).

  • The battery compartment can hold up to 8 batteries, extending battery life.

To replace batteries:

  • Unscrew the top screw of the battery cover.

  • Remove the cover and replace the batteries.

  • Ensure correct battery orientation when installing.
