Step 1: Check Key tag Registration
Ensure the key tag is registered.
Solution:
Register the key tag via the voice guide or user manual.
Alternatively, try using another registered key tag to confirm.
Step 2: Identify Faulty Key tag
Test the lock with multiple key tags.
If only one key tag fails → the key tag is faulty → replace it.
If multiple key tags fail → proceed to Step 3.
Step 3: Check Battery Level
Replace the battery with a fully charged spare lithium battery.
Test the key tags again.
If the issue persists, go to Step 4.
Step 4: Perform Factory Reset
Note: This will erase all user data. The master PIN will reset to 12345678.
Steps:
Remove the battery cover.
Double-press the RES button using a pointed object.
Listen for the prompt: “Restored to factory settings.”
Reprogram all PINs, fingerprints, and key tags after the factory reset.
Step 5: Replace Outside Panel
If the issue continues after the above troubleshooting, replace the outside panel.
Follow the Warranty Claim & Technical Escalation procedure.
