Steps to Resolve
Step 1: Check Battery
Check the battery level and recharge if required.
Test the lock again.
➡️ If the issue persists, proceed to Step 2.
Step 2: Check Cable Connection
Ensure the indoor screen cable is securely connected.
Inspect the cable for:
Bends
Kinks
Crimps or visible damage
➡️ Proceed based on findings below.
Step 3: Cable Damage Assessment
If the cable is damaged:
Advise the customer to order a replacement cable from the MSL Spare Parts Website.
Note: Damage caused during installation is not covered under warranty.
If the cable is not damaged:
Proceed to Step 4.
Step 4: Perform a Factory Reset
**Note: This will erase all current settings and programs. Reprogramming will be required after the reset.
Perform a factory reset following standard reset procedures.
Reprogram all required settings and users.
Test the indoor screen.
➡️ If the issue persists, proceed to Step 5.
Step 5: Replace Indoor Screen
Under warranty:
Follow the standard warranty replacement process.
Out of warranty:
Refer the customer to the MSL Spare Parts Website to purchase a replacement indoor screen.
