Alpha VP-5HWS Troubleshooting: Stuck on QR Code Scanning / Correct Model Not Showing in App Setup

This issue usually occurs when an incorrect country or region is selected during the account creation process, causing the app to display the wrong product list or fail to recognise the QR code.

How to Resolve

To ensure the correct model appears in the list and the lock can successfully scan the QR code, the correct country/region must be selected when creating the app account.

If an Account Was Created with the Wrong Country/Region:

  • Log out of the current account in the app.

  • Create a new account.

    • You may use the same email address or mobile number.

    • Ensure the correct country/region is selected during the account setup process.

  • Once the new account is created with the correct country/region, proceed with the normal QR code scanning and device setup.
