DDL603E-5HWS How to Adjust the Latch Bolt Orientation

Push the inverting tailpiece to the top.

Press the latch bolt down to the mortise surface, then rotate it 180 degrees and pull it out.

Push the tailpiece to the bottom.

Change the direction of the directional screw according to your actual needs (the directional screw must be installed on the inside of the door, i.e. the inside escutcheon)
