DDL603E-5HWS Troubleshooting: Fingerprint/ PIN code/ Key tag enrollment failure

Step 1: Check Battery Level

  • Confirm batteries are not low.

  • Replace with a fresh set of disposable alkaline batteries.

  • Test the lock after battery replacement.

Step 2: Perform a Factory Reset

⚠️ Important: This will erase all user data and will revert the master PIN to default: 12345678

Steps:

  • Remove the inside lower cover.

  • Using a pointed object, double-press the RES button.

  • Listen for the voice prompt: “Restored to factory settings.”

  • Reprogram the lock.

  • Test the lock.

Step 3: If the lock still does not function correctly after Step 2, replace the OUTSIDE PANEL following the Warranty Claim & Technical Escalation procedure
