Step 1: Check Battery Level
Ensure the batteries are not low.
Replace them with a fresh set of disposable alkaline batteries.
Test the lock after replacing the batteries.
Step 2: Check the Cable
Inspect the cable to ensure there is no visible damage.
Confirm that the outside panel cable is firmly connected to the inside panel.
Step 3: Perform a Factory Reset
**Note: A factory reset will erase all user data and restore the Master PIN to the default: 12345678.
Remove the battery cover.
Using a pointed object, double-press the RES button.
Wait for the voice prompt: “Restoring to default settings.”
Reprogram and test the lock.
If the Issue Persists
If the keypad still does not light up after completing Step 3, replace the OUTSIDE PANEL.
Follow the Warranty Claim & Technical Escalation procedure.
